Boneyard Prediction- Michigan Week
Lombardi will be poised since he’s beaten Michigan before. Running game will put on another big performance to keep us in the game. If it’s close going into the 4th quarter. Huskies will come out victorious. Michigan is a run first team.
Huskie 34
Wolverines 31
If I were Waylee, I would have Garrett Wolfe highlights on repeat to get amped up!

44-17 Wolverines. As we get down Lombardi presses a little and has a couple picks.

I agree with everything you said other than the actual
prediction, Huskies keep it closer I hope.
Michigan D is licking
their chops for sure on Rocky.
Huskies 24

Hope I’m wrong! Beat Michigan

Heart says "6 turnovers by Michigan and NIU wins 27-24". Brain says "Michigan 42, NIU 16".
Stupid brain.

I think the fact they’re so run happy should keep it closer than some people thing.
I’ll go 38-17.

Boneyard Prediction- Michigan Week
I'm making the trek so I'm hoping for a good game but after watching what UM did to the other huskies last week this could be a similar beat down.
UM 52
NIU 13. Waylee gets another TD

RE: Boneyard Prediction- Michigan Week
I have confidence in Hammock and the direction of the program but to me it is clear that this young defense will be woefully overmatched on Saturday and Michigan will be able to score on nearly every possession.
Hammock knows this and will run the ball the ball on offense, run some more and then run again to eat as much clock as possible. I think this could get ugly ... something like 56 to 13.

31-27 NIU. Anyone know if Jeffrey Griffin is hurt? I thought he would at least be on the 2 deep.

RE: Boneyard Prediction- Michigan Week
Despite knowing that anything could happen and wanting to drink the NIU Kool-Aid, I just think we are over-matched physically. If Michigan is looking past us, we play a clean game and get a few turnovers, we have a chance. I would stack the box against the very good Michigan rushing attack - if the QB beats us with his arm, so be it. While I agree that we will need to be run-heavy, I think Rocky will need to complete some passes and not throw picks (and not get balls tipped) in order to get some running room. We will need to score more than 30 points to pull off this upset. I'm hoping Michigan is looking past us, we play a clean game and get a few turnovers so its not a blow-out and Michigan doesn't cover.
Michigan: 37
NIU: 20
I have a christening in the morning, so when I get home at around 11:30 I'm hoping it is close and we are playing well.
GO HUSKIES!

RE: Boneyard Prediction- Michigan Week
Trying to predict this game has me a little sick to my stomach. Luckily I will be watching the game with my RV parked on the beach and a cooler full of beer so I can drink my sorrows away. I am hoping for a close game with no injuries on either side.

Huskies win, 19-16, (same score as the 2003 victory over#25 Alabama).
Hey, I can dream, can't I?

RE: Boneyard Prediction- Michigan Week
MI 42
NIU 17
Stacking the box slows MI down until we tire in the late 3rd qtr.
If we can stop the run somehow and force a few turnovers, we have a slight chance. But we must play penalty free and tackle well. No turnovers either.
The lower the score, the better our chances, but I don't like our chances. If we come out of this healthy, that is a win.
Looking forward to the MAC part of our schedule. But, staying healthy is the key.
Go Huskies!
