45-42 Huskies.

Rudolph runs back the opening KO and it is back and forth after that.

I just hope NIU wins, regardless of the score. We should all want each other to win these kind of games.

Yep. I was rooting for Toledo last week.

Too bad that in typical Toledo fashion, the Rockettes not only choked like they do time and time and time and time again but also pissed and shat all over themselves simultaneously, as they do time and time and time…

Sincere condolences.

NIU goes 2-2 OOC, 6-6 on the season, good progress with a boneyard victory

(Michigan loss is not for certain of we play like we did in Georgia!)

I always root for MAC teams, especially over P5 teams. You guys gave ND a scare, you should have won that game.

This game as with many of NIU games with power5 teams we’re decided within the first 10 minutes sometimes first 5 minutes. If Huskies are down by 10pts or more after 10 minutes of game it’s over. A good start and Huskies have a chance. Michigan as usual is over rated!

UM 52
NIU 13. Waylee gets another TD

Oh crap... worse than I thought. Not competitive at all. Sad.

I don't think anyone in this conference should be throwing any shade. EMU has the equivalent of two FCS wins and had less than 100 yards of offense vs Wisky.

Hammock knows this and will run the ball the ball on offense, run some more and then run again to eat as much clock as possible. I think this could get ugly ... something like 56 to 13.
This was a pretty good analysis and prediction. Even though it was the most embarrassing NIU game I have ever watched, it was predictable because their strength in the running game is our weakness on defense. I think if they didn't throw a pass all game, left the first string in the whole game, and didn't try to run out the clock in the 4th quarter, they probably would have still scored on every possession and won by more than 70. I was surprised we didn't do anything on offense after the 2nd possession.
What is Waylee's status?

Blakemore is a true freshman that was a PWO, but has already earned a scholarship. He is a very, very physical runner. Had 8 TD's in one game as a SR. Couple years in NIU's training program should get him to the 225lb mark and he can be a Cam Stingily type back.
