& Ok St will no longer play Texas

On one of the Houston board someone claimed that the schedule will be released tomorrow. Which means it 100% won't.

If the value of pac12 tv deal is significantly less, then the four corners would jump to big12 beginning play in 2024. That would mean revising the schedule…allowing OU and UT to leave.

Secondly,

If the value of pac12 media deal is significantly higher than big12, then I would not rule out a couple of big12 school jumping. They would need to start play in the pac12 in 2024. Exit fees can be negotiated, assuming OU and UT leave in 2024.

Now before anyone starts yapping about “no big12 school is jumping to pac12”, those same schools were wetting themselves trying to get to the pac12. They didn’t want to be associated with incoming “G5” school and no, not buying all this Kumbaya, we are together stuff.

The schedule would have already been released if that were true.

I am selfishly hoping that WVU is scheduled for a game in Orlando so I can (possibly sorta' maybe) have an excuse to make a late season trip to Florida.

Lets say the P12 gets 3 mil over the B12 with much less coverage. Which team do you suspect will pay the 70 mil exit fee to make it up over the next 21 years?

You were thinking the same things I was GoodKnight. Not to mention you think the P12 is gonna raid some P5s to build up their conference to make up for UCLA and USC? I don't think so!

The updates I had seen was the UCF AD backed off the "Tuesday" thing shortly after it was said. Most recent reports I've seen say around the end of January. It does seem interesting that several conferences haven't released their schedules yet. Seems that something is holding things up. Not sure what--but maybe having to do with TV partners? Just a guess on my part.

The Financial side makes 0 sense for a B12 to Pac move. A Pac to B12 is very easy right now. Does that mean Pac schools switch? No. The benefit has to outweigh the downside. There is no way that happens for B12 schools, The Pac will do well to match B12 money, and if they did manage to beat it coverage will not be as good. Add to that exit fees and likely GOR no way anyone makes that jump.

PAC-12 schedule being released today. Have no idea if that could mean anything for the Big XII's schedule or not. I'm sure the conspiracy theorists will have reasons why no matter what happens.

The conspiracy theorist in me says the longhorns are having second thoughts about giving up their longhorn network and have changed their mind about going to the SEC. In turn the conference is debating how to accommodate three pac12 school that will join in 2024.

Seems like this has more to do with OUT trying to get out before the 2023 season starts so they don't play any of the new B12 members.

Too late in the game for UT and OK to get out before 2023 unless they want to cough up a lot of the do rei me
