RE: WAC FOOTBALL 2022 SEASON
In my day it was the junior colleges that were FBS feeders. In fact, some junior colleges got their players directly from FBS equivalent schools where the player couldn't make the entrance requirements out of high school. I remember playing against two players that went on to major programs and then to the NFL.

Do we have a similar list of numbers of athletes imported through the portal by school? It seems like SMU has gotten quite a few.
I suppose this gives startup programs a good opportunity to build quickly, in addition to incoming freshmen and walk-ons.

Thanks, this was handy. It looks like the HBCUs were very prominent on the list. In the WAC, it was Sam-7, SUU-6, TSU-5, ACU-4, SFA-3 and LU-2, as of the date of the list. Seems to me it would be an interesting evaluation process for the recruiting colleges, in terms of evaluating the mental state of these "portal" youngsters. I mean, is Harvey Halfback leaving Bigschool because he wants to be closer to home, or is he just a quitter?
