BTW, the ESPN+ announcers were good ones. Good insights and professional sounding.

I think we have several really good announcers on our broadcasts. They are impartial and do their homework on the visiting teams.

Both Tarleton and ACU play similar styles and size is similar. I am almost expecting ACU to split the two games. I am hoping for a good crowd in Stephenville.

Wisdom rockin' tonight! 04-cheers

Just got home from the game. The atmosphere was great, and the game didn't disappoint. I expected a battle and that's exactly what the crowd got. Both teams gave it their all.

GCU had a chance to close the gap on a WAC regular season championship and they screwed the pooch.

NMSU needs to find their offense (other than Allen) or they won't win the WAC tournament come March. It looks like the WAC regular season championship will go down to the wire between NMSU, Seattle, and possibly Sam Houston. Seattle has the inside track to a championship with really only one tough road game left @ Utah Valley. NMSU still has tough games @ GCU and @ Seattle. And Sam Houston still has games @ SFA and @ GCU.

It’s very concerning. Every so often shots just don’t fall. That happens. But this is more than just that I think. But they’ll work thru it. It’s all one long string of constant adjustments when you’re playing conference teams that know you well.

I’d consider the WAC tournament to be fairly wide open still. Nothing would surprise me at this point. But I do think the usual suspects will be there in the end and that losing some games like this at this point of the season will help them all focus in that much more.

Fardaws Aimaq is the WAC Player of the Week and Taran Armstrong is the WAC Freshman of the Week... Just like week #2 and week #4 of the 2021-22 WAC basketball season.
