Go Bucs . Great year.
Lots of memories.
Lost to the envy of the FCS.

They’d come up and talk to me, invite me into their tailgates, over and over. They don’t know a stranger. Truly, I’m now a fan. Not when they play the Bucs, but if they face anyone else, I’ll be pleased that those kind people are happy.
Go Bucs!
A little kindness is just magic stuff isn’t it?
Glad to hear you had a good time. I really hope the other fans who traveled to Fargo also made a point to go and mingle with our faithful.
Oh and even though it was an early game you now know to bring your spare liver for the next visit.

We do our best to make first time fans feel welcome. I hope you left the tailgate lot with a full belly and a good buzz.

We had about as many in attendance at our SoCon championship game with Mercer as was in attendance in the Fargodome. We have established a rather nice fan base to build from.

RE: Official Game Thread: North Dakota State
Sad the season is over but it's been a special one. Hats off to the players and coaches. Looking back at where we were in 2015 and then now playing in a meaningful FCS playoff game against FCS powerhouse NDSU is an accomplishment in itself regardless of the outcome of todays game. It's a good barometer as to what we need to do to get to NDSU's level of success.
I didn't think our defense played THAT bad today. We could not stop the run up the middle by any means, which had me puzzled as to why they didn't keep running it up the middle all game. Our offense just could not manage to get anything going against a much bigger D-Line. We had opportunities at times, but we were shut down again and again.
Congrats NDSU and best of luck the rest of the way!

I wouldn't expect anything less, NDSU fans & tailgates are something everyone in sports should follow. yea we talk some smack on dumb boards
but I've had beers & bought shots with a ton of visiting fans.
glad you enjoyed yourself

NEXT YEAR
With few seniors on the roster — what about next year? What does Sanders need to do to take the next step UP in the FCS football world and sustain that? On the other hand, is Sanders being looked at to be hired away?

He is in a good position in that our recruiting should now get better. With very few players to replace we can look at getting bigger and stronger up front. Maybe a few transfers to bolster our defensive line is a must as that showed as a weakness. Other than that Coach can go and get the best possible athletes to join the program. We have to remember that most of our team this year was freshmen and red-shirt freshmen. We should be much better next year!

NDSU had more senior starters on defense than on entire ETSU team:
Our guys competed,” ETSU coach Randy Sanders said. “They battled, they fought. But there’s a reason these guys have won eight out of the last 10 national championships. When I looked and saw that they had more senior starters on defense than we had seniors on our football team, I knew we were going have to play well.”

Congrats on the season. I have to say it was a tougher game than I was expecting. The fake punt was pulled off to perfection...you definitely had us schemed up. Again, congrats on the season and hope to play you guys again in the playoffs next year.
