After watching the NDSU - SIU highlights, I have no idea. SIU defense and offense that bad, NDSU offense and defense that good, etc? Or, how did SIU make to the playoffs in the first place with a 7-4 record?

Interesting to see their fan forum.
Also of note is that the Fargo SMSI is half the population of the TRI SMSI.

I was surprised to see Fargo has an international airport, however i guess it is the largest city in ND.

I would not be surprised if this game opens up with NDSU favored by 24+

We’re sorta viewed on Davidson’s FCS level by today’s FCS elites and stumbled our way to this point? I’ve been around long enough to remember that if a SoCon team didn’t win this thing or was at least not in the final, then it was an anomaly. Just saying..

Remember................Fargo is close to a border. Winnipeg, Regina, Saskatoon, Calgary, Edmonton, etc., just aren't all that far away. Well, Edmonton and Calgary are a bit, but my point is still valid. Those flights make it "international". If Nashvegas or Hotlanta were in another country............TRI would also be "international".

Somebody on the Bison board said it's at 23 points now.

Maybe that’s the way of the game now — but there was a time when it was taken as an insult and would throughly PO the underdog and get him fighting mad!

Our team garners zero respect in the Southern Conference and the big south. Why should we expect any respect from North Dakota State I guess? ETSU will have to keep this level of play up for years to gain any respect nationally. Nobody outside of our fanbase has given this team any chance for most of the year.

We have the best running back in school history along with some real athletes at wide receiver and tight end. A Billy Taylor led defense that has proven it can get the job done when it needs to. A young quarterback that continues to develop and make great decisions. Now is the time to prove what we’re made of.

I think the big concern is our O-line handling their D-line and linebackers, both for the running game and passing attempts.
Secondarily.................our secondary is porous to a smart passing scheme, especially in the middle - as has been demonstrated over and over this year. Also..........witness how Kennesaw's rushing game was pushing us around for much of the second half. Don't know if it's a depth issue or what, but our D-line was gassed in the fourth quarter.

I watched some of the Southern Illinois highlights on Youtube, and I just don't see NDSU being that much more talented than us. Or many teams in the SoCon for that matter. I could be proved wrong, and certainly our defense comes and goes. But I just don't see them being "big" favorites.

Not even a hint of a negative comment from their head coach. A very enlightening and informational press conference.

Bucs, somehow, have to shut out the big time, big stage atmosphere they are entering. Got to play to the best of their ability. Can't have star gazing. Unfortunately, easier said than done.

It's very sad that the great support, from the students, band and fans, won't be there to cheer loud and proud for the Bucs.
