Well duh! Judy has instructed all officials to blatantly favor WKU. She loves our AD, our coaches, and our wonderful, upstanding, straight A players.... not to mention she feels sorry for us because we lost Bassey.

ODU had too much one on one offense in those last two possessions. Would like to have seen some ball movement and an open look instead of what they ended up taking.

So then what is it? WKU just gets lucky? In 6 conference game WKU has attempted 142 FT’s to their opponents 71. So either WKU is cheating, it’s pure luck, or it’s the style we play, take your pick.

Congrats Herd on the win. We’ll see you again when it matters in the CUSAT. We’ll be ready to defend our title. Glad you’re in our conference - it was an entertaining game.

WKU certainly hasn’t been lucky the last two years in the CUSAT final. This should be your year, but we’ll see if Stansbury can actually coach you to the win. And make no mistake, ODU will be waiting for you to defend our title when the chips are really down.

Lol at the this should be our year comment. We lost a first team All-American big and are missing our senior PG that we were relying on to run the team. Two losses that NOBODY else in CUSA could survive. It speaks to the recruiting acumen of Stanz that we even have a shot. At full strength I would agree with you, but with the attrition it is certainly not ours to lose anymore. But I still wouldn’t count us out.

I know what you mean because while Western is no where close to the dumpster fire of S. Miss. Stansbury needing to replace 8 to 10 players every year and those high ranking recruits he does sign dont show up or transfer out after one year...is getting to me. It's just not fun any more.

I pay $1,100 for a basketball season ticket and last year I missed more home games than in the previous 8 combined. This year I've made it to two home games. While this team is starting to actually be a fun team to watch and play for each other than me, me, me, like last year and early on this season....

setting aside 6 hours to go see them play, its a 2 hour drive for homes games. Especially when all are on espn+

Its got to be about as bad as it gets to be a S. Miss fan in basketball and even football. I've seen what S. Miss can be with the right coach. Fans turn out and it gets as loud as any place in CUSA.

Jay Ladner was not even a good coach at Southeastern Louisiana. Hiring him for the S. Miss job made zero sense. While Doc was not a bad coach. S. Miss needs to get someone young, with a drive to win. Someone with aau connections or at least great JUCO connections.

TheN there's football and S. Miss hires someone that is older instead of a you coach with a drive to move up and a hot exciting system. The only time you dont go with a young OC or position coach...if there a proven older coach with baggage. Other wise we dont get those proven coaches. Hell, should have welcomed Art Briles with open arms.

At schools in CUSA the only time you are going to get coaches like that...when they come with huge baggage. Like you I would just checkout because it's obvious the president or AD at S. Miss doesnt care.

Wku adjusted well and we simply didn’t make adjustments in response. We dominated the game for about 16-18 minutes and then had no answer for Wku’s response.

Kinsey is fantastic. Every time he got it on the wing/elbow, I just held my breath waiting for the shot. Impressive player.
