That makes two of us, their cheap 6” meatball or ham sub at that price is a steal. I live in Sheetz country so I end up eating them far more than I’d like, but it’s easier/cheaper than making a quick bite sometimes.

Someone seeing DiNucci at a restaurant and saying he is fine does not mean he didn't suffer a mild concussion when his helmet/head hit the turf. A mild concussion may or may not show any symptoms during concussion protocol. He did seem a bit "off" after that. Always better to ere on the side of caution.
This is the hottest take on the site. Sheetz is a restaurant?
Sorry, a gas station.

I have actually been to Scheetz a couple of times when I have come to H-burg for a game!! It's those damn concussions I had in HS playing football! Was probably thinking of a bar called "Three Sheets to the Wind" that I have seen somewhere.

We only scored Ten points , I wouldn't call that a great game called. It was probably one of the easiest games he could call, this worries me for future games because the defenses only get tougher. Could have thrown the ball a little more earlier to relieve some pressure off the defense but oh well we won.

I was at the game, and it sure felt like CC totally went into a shell after the DiNucci INT in the end zone. I really think he was saying "the only thing that'll beat us tonight is dipsh*t plays like that".
Same thing Houston did against Youngstown in Frisco. Trust your dominant defense, don't put them in any short field situations, survive and advance.

Sheetz is a restaurant.
You can purchase food, sit at a table, and eat. It's also a gas station. But it's a restaurant.

Some have the dining space, but I don’t believe the one in Harrisonburg does. Gas and food to go, but no dining inside.

Another observation from last night, there were a few chances for our D to light up one of their players but we held back. They finally got the message how costly a Targeting call could be to us at this stage of the season.

Much talk here about Ben having his bell rung, but he came back and seemed fine throwing the ball and running. Then he pulled off that idiotic grounding where he heaved the ball. A bit later we had that endzone INT, so I’m guessing by that point Cigs had enough and we ran the very vanilla runs the rest of the way.

That "idiotic grounding" actually wasnt a penalty and counted as an incomplete pass so we didnt lose field position and still allowed a FG attempt. That was a heads up play

Weird comment from their talk board. I am not sure what this guy is trying to say.

I see nothing in JMU that scares me. Can't even put up more than 10 on a Valley Defense.
We put up more than 10 and they put up 9....on a Valley defense!

My opinion... GOOD. Let them think that.
Cignetti called a great game. There was no reason to do anything foolish. We could have played 4 more quarters and UNI would not have scored. If they had done anything to suggest otherwise I guarantee our offense wouldn't have been that vanilla. Despite that, our running game was opening things up in the second half.
Hopefully the weather will be much better next week and our offense will "magically" look better.
Yes, NDSU fans are probably singing a different tune today after their 9-3 win. Count me as one of the non-believers in this year's edition of NDSU. I think Montana St. spanks them and meets JMU in Frisco.

I think it's wise to point out that we should make hay while the sun is shining. There are a ton of underclassmen on that NDSU team (and a ton of seniors on the JMU team) and while I'm not saying "we don't have a prayer next year", NDSU will be better next year than they are this year, and we're likely to be better this year than we are next year. So this is the window. Let's do this.

from an Iowa newspaper regarding the quality of the replay video:
It was one of two replays that went against the Panthers, including a Tyler Hoosman fumble in the second quarter. Video in the press box appeared to show Hoosman’s elbow was down before the ball came loose, but it was ruled a fumble on the field and upheld.
“Credit the officials,” Farley said. “I thought the officials did a very good job. But what was said was they lost reception on the monitors, had poor reception on what was going on so they couldn’t get a clear picture and things were breaking up. That is what he was telling me and there was nothing he could do about it.”

I read all 30 pages of UNI's JMU game thread and came away amazed at their analysis post-game. They were crying about the refs screwing them and Farley being no good and injuries killing them. Not until the second to the last post did I see any of them mention the real reason - JMU is an ass-kicking football team. Amazing! They get zero yards rushing and can't see the real reason they lost.
