UH fans used to get a lot of **** for hyping him up in threads before he ever played a game (similar to how Memphis fans get **** for Penny not having coached yet), but after two years of balling out he's earned his hype.

Two ain't three, so how does the two become a criminal activity, lol?

And the one still there is about how his recruiting affects the AAC.

Again there isn't three there's two, and your two Penny threads aren't the only Penny threads we've had. They just happen to be the most recent. The other point I tried to make, which you completely ignored, is that before Oliver played a game at UH, other posters on this site did get tired of us hyping him up and talking about him. The reason why people tolerate his hype now is because he's proven himself on the field against pretty much every team in this conference. Similarly some people are tired of hearing about Penny because he's unproven as a coach. If he comes in, does his job, and does it well (i.e. wins games, lands the big recruits next year) people on here will pay him his respect and shut up. I don't care about Penny too much one way or another because if he succeeds or flops, UH should be fine.
