If this game was called tight instead of lose , tech would not have been able to keep that press on and the game would have been in the WKUs favor.
Those are unfounded suppositions. Tech was the better team tonight. That is why Tech won. It was excellent defense and good offense that won the game.
Regardless of the final score, it was a very competitive game from start to finish and either team could win if we play each other in the tourney. WKU is very good. Tech has been very good.
Its a shame you only had 4k to see game, is that normal for your games? 22 straight, 43 out of 44 at home and first place on the line you would think you have a packed house....
La. Tech was better team no doubt about it...Maybe on a neutral floor game would be different..I will say though we do not have the quickness or athleticism La. Tech has...Only weakness I see is you guys do not have much depth and in March if a half court game and foul trouble could be in trouble...Best team so far though by far in CUSA I have watched....

4k is not too bad for a weekday game at Tech.
And you are right, our depth is a problem this year as our underclassmen haven't made their breakthrough yet.
Tech is still going thru a shooting slump right now as we can't make the easy open three.

Yeah 6pm on Thurs can be tough to make especially for those who travel. I had to leave work right at 5 and speed to get there for tipoff. My sister couldn't get off at 5 so her and my nephew didn't go. I'm sure there's a lot of that.

I just wish the Techsters could have pulled the upset and gotten the trifecta for us this season against WKU.

The women's game looks close until WKU went on that 14-0 run. WKU football can look for revenge but I doubt they will find it.

WKU did not do a good job with adjusting to style of play last night at all, our guards must play smarter ( which they had been doing ) . Tech kept our guys rattled all night and your guys played very hard, I'm just disappointed in how our guys responded because I know we are better than that. I truly believe that depending on how the game flow is called will determine the winner if we meet again. I never thought the refs decided the game, but more so the style of game which was allow to be played which fit Tech style better. Tech played like the better team last night. congrats on the win

I think they shot something like 82% in the 2nd half. Sounded very much like UNT's first half against our men.

to be fair Tyler Summitt hasn't had a chance to bring in his own players yet, he's still working with what T-Spoon left him

Good post. And I give them a pass on the attendance. 6 pm on a weeknight is a killer for attendance, would be for us too.
La Tech has a nice team. Good luck so long as your interests do not conflict with ours.

I was happy WKU was added to CUSA
Remember we are better than the UL twins so WKU needs to raise the bar some when they come to Louisiana now
