My bad, Lebowski...I couldn't tell you what the norm is but App had 7 starting freshmen this year, 2 on the OL. For the most part, they held there own in the SBC. That being said, we will probably only have 1 or 2 true starting freshmen next year, one being the kicker. Other than them and the JUCO's, everyone else will likely be red-shirted.

So... you guys were hollering about GSU having to do well JUCO wise. We go out and plug some holes from previous recruiting... and now we are destined to suck, because we got 7 in the JUCO ranks, and have messed the balance.
Newsflash, our balance has been messed up ever since we started playing 4 years ago.
Quote:Wide receiver Tyrian Taylor of Ellsworth C.C. (Iowa), tight end Clayton Granch of Long Beach CC (Calif.) and center Anthony McMeans Arizona Western (Ariz.) have signed their NLI’s and will be on campus at the start spring 2015 semester. Coach Martin mentioned that this is the beginning of a really good recruiting class and feels the hard work his staff has been putting in will pay off.
“These three junior college players fill urgent needs for us and they are quality students,” said Martin. “Tyrian Taylor has great speed and hands and was a qualifier out of high school. Clayton Granch is a big and physical tight end that can stretch the field in the passing game. He was also a JUCO Academic All-America nominee. Anthony McMeans will fill the center position left by [Valerian] Ume-Ezoke and give us great size and experience in the offensive line.”

Who is the second guy from this class you think will start as a true freshman? Collin Reed at H-back?

App must have found a dozen kids outside of the norm the last two years.
If youre starting a dozen freshmen in the last two years then you must have had huge gaps or crap players or both. See above.
Re emotion:Your m.o. never changes.
Neither does yours. Ignorance is bliss I guess.
We are starting freshman and sophomores due to the move to the FBS and better overall recruiting. Those 18-19 years olds owned a lot of those 22 year olds this year therefore supporting my original claim. Pretty simple.
