Bahamas would be great for the players, but terrible for the fans. I would be happy for our guys though. They deserve a nice reward for the turnaround this season.

Our AD said during pregame that WKU/ MTSU would play in the Bahamas. MTSU may have just lost to Utep.

There is no way we both could have played in the Bahamas, and we both had a shot at 7-5 (with MTSU just coming up short). I don't see how he could have made that statement pregame.

He said that either WKU or MTSU would play in the Bahamas Bowl. MTSU just lost. It's not rocket science.

He said one or the other....basically we could eliminate Bahamas because it was filled. He has said previously that they have weekly conference calls on bowls. I'm guessing it was already determined WKU or MTSU would take that bowl.

Middle will not be bowling. Don't deserve a bowl.

My guess if MT won they was at the Bahamas bowl and WKU would be in boca .I'm now guessing WKU has a long flight south

I believe that's the case...unless we can snag some extra bowls.

CBS has MTSU, UAB, and S. Alabama all sitting home at 6-6, but Ohio is going to the Armed Forces bowl at 6-6

The backup arrangements for many bowls is a mystery. We have heard that after Army, this year the Big 12 was backup with C-USA backing up the Big 12. If it's a MAC team that would be a surprise.

I think that's total bs. Rice, Tech or Marshall all have have a better shot at the Armed forces bowl than a 6-6 Ohio. An armed forces Bowl committee member was at the Tech Rice game yesterday.

Looking at that list, the AAC appears to have much better bowl tie-ins. We only have one game against a P5 school, and thats with Marshall who should be in the playoff. Quite a bummer for UAB and MTSU too, though I do think they should have a rule that teams need to have either a winning record, or a winning record in conference to bowl. 6-6 doesn't deserve a bowl.

Hold up buddy. Don't go crowning people before the game is played. Marshall ain't beat Tech yet. I also disagree with you about bowls. We have a better bowl selection most years compared to AAC. We also share several bowls with them in offset years.

I doubt that helped our cause...
