RE: The Athletic: PAC2 withholding payments to departing schools

Those two schools have basically contributed nothing in their entire media existence to raising the media deal. And when all of this is said and done I hope Washington, Oregon, USC, and UCLA never schedule them again.
It could be said that USC and UCLA have contributed basically nothing to the conference, other than the Southern California market. Washington has scheduled an annual football game with Washington State for the next five years and Oregon is doing the same with Oregon State.
The Pac-12 schools will continue to play each other in non-conference games, if for no other reason than they are looking for regional opponents. They don't want to fly back east for non-conference games, since they will be flying back east for conference games.
In the end, it may be Oregon State and Washington State screwing the other ten schools, at least this year. Plus, they are keeping all of those Pac-12 NCAA basketball tournament financial units.

Classy. Santa is watching, bro. Hope you get screwed in the B1G and go 8-4 every year at best. I am hoping for a Boston College situation after they left the BE.
