Right. And given the severity of the lawsuits, its not that unreasonable. It should really come out of any reserves first. That is why they are there. I've seen discussion by conferences about withholding on distributions for lawsuits. Then its a fair question how much comes out of current and how much out of future NCAA distributions. Most of this should be easy.

The question are reserves and any lawsuit liabilities in excess of or less than reserves. And if they are in excess how much comes out of current and how much out of future revenues as those future revenues are already earned, just not distributed. If the conference held together and lost the lawsuit and declared bankruptcy, those future NCAA distributions would be obtainable by the plaintiffs. Those are simply long term assets.
