Same here. Think Bama fans are bad? Go to any Vol game. And then there's that checkered endzone and hillbilly song that gets played over and over and over. Unfortunately I have some Vol inlaws that makes it that much worse.

LSU comes in second. I haven't really had the encounters with them that I have Vol fans, but I can tell just from watching from afar how bad the Cajuns must have it over there.

They're whining because USM DOESNT' have any tickets left to sell to the public, and they think we're keeping them from buying tickets?

I'm just curious.. economics and mathematics isn't on the curriculum at UofTN is it?

Out of the hundreds of SEC fans I've met few have attended college. Only one actually attended the SEC school he rooted for.

Can't find him now but there's one in particular throwing shade at USM and says "our football stadium holds 100K" (what does fb have to do with baseball) as well as "we've got better accommodations than Hattiesburg" (which didn't seem to deter NCAA from letting UK host last week)....then you look at this tools social media handle and is has "Samford class of '26". So all this we we we and he's a Samford student which is even funnier as we eliminated Samford in the Auburn regional (they did beat us first but we got the last laugh)

What? 38 home games and only 17 on the road? Why the NCAA allows this lopsided schedule I don’t know.

No different than Syracuse playing 99% of their OOC basketball games at home, or Alabama playing 7 or 8 home games a year in football

and to go a step further...15 of those 17 road games were SEC road games and 1 other road game was their regional game AT Clemson. So take that away and Tennessee played just one true non conference road game and that was their season opening weekend when they played a round robin tournament at Grand Canyon University

Maybe the Roost should have a rope ladder or a few climbing ropes on hand just in case?

The 2 conferences are guaranteed to makeup half of the Omaha teams. USM has the ability to assure them that they will not make up more than half of the Omaha field.

I'm actually fine with the SEC and ACC teams playing each other. Limits who can actually qualify.

Depends how you look at it. SEC/ACC combined are guaranteed 4 Omaha teams. If they were all split up which theoretically they could have all been but one mandatory SEC/ACC pairing game. I'm fine with Big12/Pac12/+ soon to be Texas SEC teams getting into Supers. It's the SEC/ACC (Miami/FSU) types of teams that are intolerable.

If seeding was just a little different and doing some team scramble 7 opportunities to eliminate either an SEC or ACC team from Omaha entirely.

Wake vs Alabama
Florida vs ISU
UVA vs Oregon
Duke vs TCU
Stanford vs S Carolina
Texas vs UK
LSU vs USM
ORU vs Tenn

A few years ago Tennessee took one of our pitchers and we found out later on their coach got a slap on the wrist for tampering. I usually pull for Tennessee when they play UGA, Florida, or Alabama in football but I hope USM knocks the crap out of these guys. And I wouldn't mind seeing an Eagle home run off of that pitcher (his name is Chase Dollander) either.

Not sure I favor any sort of scheduling requirements that would "fix" it, but that is pretty insane...

I will say that the one time I've interacted Vols fans in their territory, I was initially struck by the SEC-ness, but there were some good sports among them after they were humbled by lowly GSU on the gridiron. I'm sure the years and years of mediocrity have taken some sort of toll on their swagger.

These. Man, it’s nice to have conference mates that want to be good with us and not try to root against every chance they get. Refreshing.

I've got a feeling the tickets are going to be gone in a flash. Do season ticket holders get first dibs? That only seems right.

He's one of their main pitchers this year. Pitched 78 innings and has a 4.50 ERA

The only way to get post season tickets is to have season tickets. It's why we sold out of season tickets this year.

Tennessee Twitter is pretty much LSU Twitter but with less knowledge and more paranoia.

Especially for someone who has a pro career just around the corner.

He was schedule to throw on the side that day so that offsets some of the concern. With warm up tosses throw in be likely threw more pitch’s than the rehab throwing but he looked good and strong. Post game is shoulder did not have a havoc ice tapped to it. I think Billy and Will’s arms would be bigger concerns. Both looked really good on shorter rest

Can’t speak for Hall but he’s a control pitcher that doesn’t use velocity as his main weapon. It’s why he can throw 123 pitches or a complete game.

Armistead has turned into a really good Pitcher. All our starting pitchers and relief pitchers have niche specialty that makes them important to our game.

Storm is a legend and Kros already good will get better and better under Oz
