We rotated for a while to give schools more notice, but even that became difficult because many Sun Belt Towns don't have the hotel space to host 10-12 teams full of college athletes that need meeting space etc.
I know the year Troy hosted the baseball tournament, AState got a hotel an hour away because there were so few options nearby.
The 1 seed is even worse because most motel rooms have to be booked months in advance for groups that large.
I know a Sun Belt town with hotel space for 100s of teams of college athletes. Glad that is settled, see everyone in Myrtle or Conway moving forward. We can rotate between Ticket Return Field and Springs Brooks Stadium.
Coastal isn't the only one. And we got a minor league park situated in downtown Norfolk in walking distance of most of those hotels. And by 2024, we'll have a fancy new casino and another hotel right next to it.
Are their floating outfield seats available? I'd want those seats I think. Party Boat!
We can take my boat.
I'm in!

Pensacola or Biloxi would be fine with me.
