ABOUT THE CHANTS
• Coastal Carolina is 26-15-1 overall on the season and 15-6-1 at home at Springs Brooks Stadium.
• The Chanticleers enter the weekend series having won 10 of their last 12 games and eight of their last nine conference games with sweeps over Appalachian State (April 14-16) and UTA (April 22-24), and a 2-1 series win on the road at Georgia Southern (April 29-May 1).

ABOUT THE LR TROJANS
• Little Rock comes to Conway, S.C., this weekend at 21-19 overall and 2-10 in road contests on the season.
• The Trojans are 9-11 in Sun Belt Conference play but are coming off a three-game conference series sweep over ULM (April 29-May 1) last weekend and have won five-straight games.
• LR relies on its offense, as five different Trojans are hitting over .300 on the season, led by Canyon McWilliams' team-leading average of .364, while Noah Dickerson is right behind him at .351 on the year.
• The Trojans' pitching staff has posted a 5.70 ERA with 315 strikeouts over 350.1 innings pitched. LR's arms are holding their opponents to a .267 batting average and have allowed 43 home runs this season.

• Coastal Carolina holds a 4-2 advantage over Little Rock in the all-time series history, with three of the wins coming at home inside Springs Brooks Stadium back in 2018.

Remains undefeated in Friday night starts as ODU takes game 1 in Hattiesburg. Both starting pitchers did well. ODU tacks on 2 more homers for the season, 1 of which was by Coutney who moves back into a tie for most in the nation I believe. ODU really fielded the ball well tonight which might have been the difference in the game as a couple I thought were RBI’s coming off the bat ended in outs. 4-1 final score. Good game Eagles.

Go watch the replay. The ump behind the plate was cooking it big time last inning. Even the announcer didn’t really know what to say about the missed calls.

Hats off to ODU coming in and winning the series . Should be another great game tomorrow. No excuses but since Reese Euwing went down, our lineup is struggling to find runs. This one hurts but there is plenty of baseball left for Southern Miss. We need a win in the finnaly to stop the bleeding.
