No excuses but since Reese Euwing went down, our lineup is struggling to find runs. This one hurts but there is plenty of baseball left for Southern Miss. We need a win in the finnaly to stop the bleeding.

ODU came into this series needing wins if they were to have any chance at all for an NCAA Tournament at-large bid. They are better than their conference record would indicate, but that's just the way things have happened so they can't change the past.

Like Southern Mississippi, ODU has had some injuries that have slowed them down a bit as well - such as missing their starting 2B for most of the season (.367 AVG, .967 OPS when he went down with a leg injury - still out).

It's good that ODU has had this opportunity to play at USM this late in the season with the CUSA Tournament coming up down there in just a few weeks. Your ballpark looks great on TV. Hopefully ODU will have one that nice in a couple years.

Chants win with a walk off. Also...our victory bell fell down today and almost clocked a guy. Wow.

I heard “Coastal just cheated for a win. Homecooking at it finest. The ump purposely did that to LR. It’s BS. Hello”

CONWAY, S.C. – With the score tied at 6-6 and runners on first and second in one out in the bottom of the 10th inning, Coastal Carolina junior outfielder Graham Brown hit a 1-0 pitch over the wall in right field for a three-run walk-off home run to give the Chanticleers a 9-6 win on Saturday afternoon over the Little Rock Trojans at Springs Brooks Stadium.

The walk-off home run is the first for the Chanticleers since Nick Lucky hit a two-run walk-off home run in a seven-inning, 10-run rule win over Texas State on May 22, 2021. The walk-off win is the second of the season for CCU, who had a walk-off when in nine innings versus UTA on April 22, 2022.

The win pushes Coastal to 28-15-1 on the season and 15-7-1 in league play, while with the loss the Trojans fall to 21-21 overall and 9-13 in the conference.

Eagles put up a big number midway through Game two to erase deficit and sweep DH from Troy. Getting series sweep tomorrow would be big.

We have seen way too many brooms this season. If our new AD doesn't get rid of our coach I will lose my mind.03-hissyfit I can't tell you how much I am going to miss this baseball conference. So many outstanding teams, its an honor just to be in a league with you guys

I have not seen the score this morning but I am glad to see our pitchers are holding the line a little better.

We had done much better in that regard until this series. Been outscored 24-3 over the weekend so far.

ODU, you guys can rake and your outfielders are good sports. Very impressed with your team. Good on you for the series win. We need to get some guys healthy before postseason. See you back in Hattiesburg in 3 weeks. Cheers guys, happy that we are moving to the SBC together.

Coastal gets the sweep.

If we somehow continue on this trajectory, it’s absolutely amazing to even say this, but we could have a shot at an at large bid even if we don’t win the SBC tournament.
