There's only one Little Danny in my sports world. Unfortunately, it's this guy:

I swear it seems like little danny has been at Villanova longer than Cojo has been at JMU

Looks like there could be a chance of rain showers tomorrow. 40% chance.

Low to Mid 60s and raining isn’t as nice as low to mid 60s and sunny, but I’ll take it over mid 40s and raining for sure. Hopefully we get a break or two in the rain while we are in the stadium.

Based on his tweet, Josh Simms career at JMU appears to be over?

Met his folks at Elon a couple years back. Great people.

I’m going to go out on a limb and not be a homer and say we have a very good chance of losing this game.

I don’t think our offensive line is strong due to its youth.
And I don’t think Cole has pulled a “dinucci” and gotten over the turnover bug like Ben did in Year 2.
We have not faced a true dual threat qb that has tested our defense, which still seems vulnerable in the secondary.

Villanova is mostly the same team that came in 2 years ago and almost beat us. But that 2019 JMU team was better than this one.

This is the only regular season game I think we could lose. And my gut tells me we might.

I look for a 24-21 type game that could be won by either. Whoever makes the big plays in the 4th (paging MJ) will prevail. It’s going to be edge of the seat stuff throughout. Get your popcorn and hide the remote if you aren’t going to be there in person.

Prop bet - who averages more yards per carry? JMU or Villanova? With sacks factoring in, this could be just as much about which QB gets rid of the ball or escapes the pocket just as much as timing/types of regular running plays.

I think both QB’s throw for over 300 yards to take advantage of the defenses that are designed to stop the run first. Throw on first down and have success. Throw on 3rd down when you are in a must pass situation and sacks will be prevalent.
Less than 24 hours away to a big one.

I desperately want to see our defense play with both MJ Hampton AND Wesley McCormick back. Think it will noticeably help out.

I'd be pretty surprised if we lose this game at home.

If it was there - I could see it....

I do anticipate a lower scoring game.

Guess you’re going with it doesn’t rain most of the game then?

62 % chance of no rain at all. Of course by tomorrow it could be completely dry or raining all day. Weather Gal will let us know on the Jumbotron

Game Day!!! Just took a look at the forecast from the Weather Channel and it looks OK for game time, cloudy and no rain. SO lets hope that it holds. We need a full house today against the Wildcats.

Mrs ParentofJMUMRDs and I will be heading out in an hour or so for the drive down to BFS. Hope to see everyone there ROOTIIN!!!!!!!
