Yep. Watched UD vs Maine, and recording of Albany @ UD. Vs Albany UD's QB1 Henderson (1st team All CAA in Spring) started, but left game early, and for UD it was a combination of QB2 (their wildcat QB) and QB3 (ECU transfer lol, better passer, not as much a runner). Then Henderson was back in the 4th qtr.
Bottom line is, with Henderson not healthy, UD's offense is like UNH with a better running game. Their back Lee is likely one of the top 2 JMU will face this season, along with Covington from VU. When Henderson wasn't in there, it was allot of 2 TE and or FB, ground and pound. They run some of the old Redskins counter trey. Their OL has pass protection problems- gave up 3 sacks to Albany 1st half Albany had a Fr de end that abused UD's supposed AA LT (#72) on one of those.
Defensively UD is like UNH- kind of stout against the run, but UD doesn't have the de ends that UNH or VU does. Their 3-4 DL vs Albany had virtually no pass rush, and the 2 sacks they got were off of blitzes.
If Henderson isn't healthy (which sounds like he won't be vs JMU) and UD is still playing musical chairs at QB, JMU can just overplay the run vs UD. Rocco I'm sure will pull out all the stops, but I can't see the UD offense scoring more than in the single digits or low double digits when starting near/on their side of the field (their FG kicker is pretty good, something like 6 for 6). So absent JMU gift wrapping 3 TDs off turnovers or ST, like they basically did vs UNH, JMU should beat UD by double digits.
The only sleight concern, playing @ UD will be JMU's 2nd straight game on the road, 5th straight of 5 ranked.
