Very hostile. I remember down the drive echoing down that long long long ramp and just thinking we are going to get jumped if we split up.

Wearing black at IU was a true badge of honor (or maybe ignorance) for UC fans.

My black ballcap and black shirt made the mid-90's temps and bright, bright sun feel even hotter.

I don't recall thinking we were in danger at the game.

After the game at Hofbrau was a different story, but that's because we were idiots. Interrupting them during Sweet Caroline. Yelling "45-44!" in the general direction of a table full of Pitt players & their friends. Making general fools of ourselves. In truth we probably deserved to get jumped, but I don't recall anyone bothering us.

I also recall two people in our party spit roasting the Panther statue on Pitt's campus.

Mr. Helicopter may remember better than I. But it might have had something to do with malted barley and hops.

Leprechaun statues better watch out in 2 weeks...

(just kidding)

Yeah, I get that, but the Pitt campus isn’t close to the stadium so one would have to go out of their way to do this, and nothing is easy to get to in Pittsburgh.

I go to games and leave, so I guess I’m out of the loop on pre and post game extracurriculars.
