My friend do I have some info for you.

Come on man, dish. I'm on pins and needles over here.

SBC CCG MVP belt. I understand if no one else but App fans know about it. Jk jk jk

We can do a lot with belts with our conference's namesake.

Probably would have been Eli Mitchell’s last year but....I won’t go down that road.

But funny that it’s the MVP prize. The wrestling belt is a thing we’ve done for a long time in my fantasy football league so my initial comment was a bit of sarcasm. Had no clue the conference actually did this. Good stuff. Just need to change that old logo to a giant effing sun and it would be perfect!

Look at CUSA's ancient logo. They've changed it once since 1995. Looks like a early 2000s art student's work.

RIP Microsoft Paint. You were always a go to for those who couldn't afford photoshop

Who needs Photoshop?

If y'all get rid of Sun Belt you get rid of #FunBelt and that would literally be a crime.

RE: Should the SBC rebrand?
If you "rebrand" the conference under a new name you could be making sure that no conference members get into NCAA tournaments for 3 years. There is no auto bid for the conference winner. Even with the same members, a new name is considered a new conference by the NCAA. At least that's how it used to be. Does anybody know if it remains so?

Why rebrand? We're starting to land sponsors!

The only reason for a rebrand is if someone who has powers just short of turning water into wine can make regionalization happen, then it might make sense.

That is not how it works in the slightest. A conference could change it's name every year and nothing else would change. The name doesn't matter, the continuation of the organization does.

I totally forgot about the Fun Belt (long summer, lol).

That nickname is actually getting traction on broadcasts, and it's starting to stick in a way that is telling folks this conference might not have the big names or players but it's sure is exciting to watch. We should just embrace it as our brand of football and roll with it.
