I just saw a clip of one of the officers on duty giving some BS speech to this dumb commission that went something like this:
Despite the fact that they did not recover many weapons, they surely must have been hiding them in their clothes. We would have lost if it became a firefight.
I will go back to this picture above. With all of the photos available for all to see, why are there so few of anything actually dangerous going on besides the breaking of a couple windows? If this situation was THAT dangerous, would there not be at least some video/picture evidence supporting it?
I was watching live television coverage of the event. Do you know what the differences were between this "insurrection" and the "fiery, but mostly peaceful protests" of Anqueefa and black lies matter?
1. News reporters were casually walking around showing the "insurrection." During BLM/Anqueefa riots, they were often either attacked or were at least actually fearful of being attacked.
2. The "insurrection" coverage showed "insurrectionists" casually walking around government vehicles. No one was jumping on them, burning them, busting windows, etc.
3. The "insurrectionists" weren't violently destroying everything they could get their hands on or threatening to kill people. In fact, I'd say damages from the "insurrectionists" could have been cleaned up within a couple of days.
4. Documented looters of the "insurrectionists" including the guy with the podium, a laptop, and another who actually paid for a piece of letterhead.
5. The only person shot during the "insurrection" was an unarmed woman.
But, by all means, let's allow the liberals to keep calling this an insurrection. If our government could be breached that easily, imagine what people actually armed and bent on destruction couldv'e done.
