The simple truth is vaccines take YEARS of study to discover all the long term effects.
They just created these in the last 12 months, and have had far less time than that for robust clinical trials and have NOT had sufficient time to fully study long term side effects.
There ARE unknown risks for healthy young people who really do not need a vaccine at all. There are fertility questions, questions of birth defects and other factors we do not fully know about yet.
The "shut up and get the shot" people are totally out of line. If you feel comfortable taking one then do so, but stop trying to bully others into it.
There are completely legit questions and concerns about rushed, unknown vaccines that have not yet gone through the full range of study and test. These have been rush and push out in record time.
As time passes and more study on these brand new rushed vaccines become available, more people will be willing to take them. But trying to bully everyone into taking them right out of the gate and threatening to take away their freedoms is as unamerican as it gets.
Its a disturbing and growing trend in our culture.
