I think we are down to 2 people still defending the decision to leave Des in there. How many times you gotta see a turd before you call it a turd?

Plain and simple if Bryant can’t play better than Ridder is playing right now he doesn’t deserve a scholarship!!

I don't even know why they hired Fickell. That guy doesn't know crap.

They could have found a coaching staff that knows everything right here on Bearcat Banter! Heck, we'd probably be 10-1 right now if they did.

It’s not too late in the season to change things up. I believe OSU started Cardale Jones in the Big 10 Title game for the first time ever and you know the end result.

Bryant had a Georgia Offer. Ridder had.....an EKU offer?

I would start Bryant this week and let Ridder heal then evaluate for the championship game. I just can’t see Ridder being effective and healthy on a short week.

Then he needs to bench himself.
All this nonsense about the kid being a "gamer" and a "real Bearcat." If he's that badly hurt and if he really cares about "the team" then he needs to step aside.

He's HURTING the team going out there unable to do his job. And Fickell is HURTING both the team and Ridder if he's sending a guy who's that badly wounded out there.
Coach has been saying “we trust the player to pull himself if he’s hurt.” Well, he’s not going to. Gotta sit him.
Is he going Tuby on us who used to let player sub themselves?

Referring to Ridder as a “turd” is vile and crude. The guy is hurt. If Degura does not drop an easy TD pass we win in walk. If some dummy does not call a rollout when we are first and goal on the six we win in a walk.

Perhaps Ridder should take a week off. Whatever, the kid deserves respect. The kid deserves respect.

The rollout is a dreadful play from ridder. If it's not there you throw the ball 30 yards into the stands. It's a call to look for someone wide open (easy throw for struggling qb )or a risk free throw away. Ridder took the sack.

He's not. And this is not coach's office. It's a message board. He's allowed to state his opinion. Not sure why you keep bellitling people for doing so.

Of course he should have thrown it away. Then Denbrock calls another stupid pass play to Mobdj - who is covered. He throws it away. Then the 3rd down pass is dropped again. And we kick the same damn field goal - so the end result is the same.

You guys hatred of Ridder has you thinking he threw a pick six.

Mark- seriously, you sat through years of bad UC football. We are 10-1. Fickell has pushed all the right buttons. If Bryant gave us a better chance to win, he would be playing. Clearly he doesn't even with a slightly injured Ridder. Everyone should be thrilled- but people love to hate.

At the risk of being repetitive as i can't review all 30 pages, who was it that blocked the extra point? I thought in the replay on the screen it was 51 Metz, but Bryant got all the play with the return. Whoever got it deserves some praise.

I thought they said Metz in the stadium. Aside from his 19 penalties, it turns out Metz had the play of the game.

Credit announced at the game went to Metz on the block and Bryant for the return.

Absolutely. That play had 3 quick reads. Two receivers in front of him or run if open. He held the ball too long. And there was no running terrible.

I wonder if others remember this play. Two receivers running an intermediate in and the other other a deeper out on the left side. They are sepatated by 30+ yards. Ridder looks left the entire time and throws the ball between them! Hopefully it slipped but who was he even trying to hit.
