Well, 4 tickets to an away bowl, a stay for 4 in a hotel acceptable to my wife will cost you a pretty penny. The days when I was a free wheeling college kid are 20 years gone

CBS (Jerry Palm), 24/7 Sports and USAToday all showing up as having updated their projections since the end of the Buckeyes' win, and all have the Herd taking on SMU in the Frisco Bowl... fwiw.

ESPN has UAB vs SMU in the Frisco Bowl. As a UAB fan I want no part of SMU so I hope ESPN is wrong.

It is but have you seen a recent Dolphin game or Hurricane game? Unfortunately it comes with the territory especially in Boca, you have to be the “in” thing or nobody cares and for some reason it didn’t get much hype this year outside the hardcore group that always go.

I made this argument with Goliath in the championship game thread as nauseum. He won't believe that south florida is not a good and rabid sports area

Don’t waste your time, from what I understand he lives within 20 minutes of the stadium and has never been to a game.
I was born and raised in Boca and the area is not a big sports area, never has been. If we can win consistently for multiple years will see better support but we are coming off a 5 win season which is a killer in this area.

90 minutes? There was a lengthy thread about this last year. I think you said you prefer spending your money on a soccer game vs FAU football. I could be mistaken.
Nevertheless, you appear to be a fan and FAU appears to need all their fans to attend events.

Tampa vs Cincy would be one ideal scenario. Let the kids travel albeit a little bit and get a good opponent
I think Florida State would fight playing us. They did so in 2017 and drew southern miss after fighting it. So the projections of FSU vs wku could be accurate. They don't want to chance losing to fau when they are down

I have gone to about 20-25 FAU games thus far. Of course, more often when we're good than when we're bad.
I prefer spending my money on Florida Panthers as there is no good soccer played anywhere in Florida.

Brett also has us vs Miami in the Indy Bowl. Who knows...my gut tells me we're gonna be sent to the NM Bowl vs a MWC or the First Responders vs a .500 MAC team. Hope I'm wrong...
