In honesty though, not a lot on him. Stats are off because he was on a team with Melo ball, rocket watts and another 5 star kid so not a lot of shots to go around. He obviously has the size which is something you can't teach. Appears to have decent handles for his size and a decent shot. The fact that he had offers from a lot of P5s including good P5s says something though. Should be a solid player and while might not make up for Teddy Allen this year, could likely be better overall in the long run.

He somehow manages to make highly skilled plays with the ball in his hands you don't expect from a guy at his size to do but to also look goofy doing it. It really doesn't matter what he looks like as long as he's doing it at a consistent level ultimately. Are there any percentages on this guy or assist to turnover ratio etc we can get full stat line?

He is a very good pickup for late in recruiting cycle, IMO. He is built like a tank, so at least he can muscle for rebounds and commit intimidating hard fouls.

Yup, a coach that saw him throughout the year said he was a very intriguing prospect. The team was very focused on Lamelo Ball and the couple 5 stars they had so they didn't really let anyone else get in their groove. He had decent stats but was often later in the game. The skills themselves showed off in practice and in limited game time which is why he got offers from teams like Tennessee, Kansas and West Virginia. He likely won't replace what we would have gotten from Teddy Allen day 1, but i think he has higher potential. Since we only plan to lose Echenique this year, if we can just be a tournament team this year, it will set up for a potentially scary team next year.

Talent level is rising. Good coaches are in place. Things are looking really strong for the league going forward.

With the team WSU has returning, I'd be debating between 15 and 18 league wins in the MVC. Instead, I think WSU has a shot to compete for the AAC title, and also a shot to finish 5th or 6th while still being a tournament-worthy team.

This is fun. It's what we signed up for.
