only 3 players from last years roster....1 was deep bench and had injury issues...the other will miss half of next season....and gardener

but are bringing in 10 new players..ecu will have a completely new look roster

First of all most of our fans did not want him to transfer. Second of all, where did you see that at because I have not seen it posted on any ECU site as of yet.

the ecu fans that post about basketball here (about 4 or 5) were all in consensus that they wished he transferred because they didn't like his style of play

Just not true. 2 people wanted him to transfer.

Williams was awful and there little path for him to actually improve. He's a 6-1 shooting guard, not athletic, not strong, can't play PG etc.. He's a complete zero.....

Rebounding
Passing
forcing turnovers
getting to the line
DEFENDING

These are things he didn't even do in high school. The only skill that gets him on the court is 3 point shooting and he's a completely average 36% from 3 and it's not even on real high volume. The national average of all college is 35.2%. If these new guys can't replace an average percentage/volume and do a few more things like actually grab a rebound, get a steal and defend better we are screwed anyway because he should never see the court if we were going to improve.

We have given up more points with Williams on the court per 100 possessions than any player the last two years and he's one of the worst defenders in the nation. 120 points per 100 possessions in conference play we gave up with him on the court it beyond horrendous. That was with a 6-4, 210lb good defending PG in Fleming we could cross match on to guard SG's too we no longer have.

If literally your only skill is shooting and you are in the 55ish type percentile at it nationally you need to go. Williams coming back I really thought had the potential undercut a lot of the good Dooley did. He played 35 minutes a game last year and if he returned there would have been pressure to play him and potential locker room issues if he didn't.

Wichita lands a replacement for Teddy Allen. Not rated but had offers from West Virginia, Pitt, Nevada, Kansas and Tennessee at least

Gotcha. He hasn't been playing basketball long but his offer list hints that he might be a bit underrated

There is a certain irony in the fact that the only reason we were able to steal him away from West Virginia is because of.... Teddy Allen

I don’t think anything has changed. And yes I also noticed that Eric Bossi and Corey Evans forecasted him to UC. Maybe something happens tomorrow?

the american digital network is doing a series on twitter where Mike O'Donnell (@MOD4three ) does a quick in-depth look at every team from coaching interviews from his twitter thread

he already did uconn last week but with their situation no need to post it, but you can look at it if you want on his twitter (scroll down a bit)
https://twitter.com/MOD4three

he just did one for houston--
summary of points (to not flood with tweets):
- culture has not fallen off even a bit, new guys are extremely hungry
- early enrollee Caleb mills is an elite scorer, embarrassed starters in some practices- not mastered the system yet though
- justin gorham is essentially a stronger Devin Davis
- nate hinton has become the vocal leader and has full trust of Sampson
- strength coach is amazing, dejon gained 40lbs since he joined last summer

will do one for all teams at some point this offseason

Based on this video he never misses a shot. Gonna be really hard to stop a big man like that who shoots so well.
