Memphis took 4 point lead with 1:19 to go but Wake come back to score and led 37-34

Memphis with 37 seconds drives and tries FG to tie. Kick is off

Memphis plays for OT instead of going for the win. They deserved to lose.

Yeah, scratching my head on the last few plays of their final possession. After the big pass play to get them down to about the 20 they try a run for no gain and THEN throw a pass for no completion. It looked like that should have been called for a pass interference as the defender was holding the receiver's arm back. They had plenty of time to try another pass play for the TD.

Kudos to WF for making defensive adjustments. When Memphis went up 28-17 early I thought Memphis was going to put up a ton of points

Do you have to stir up those with the fragile conference egos?

The WMI clearly has the AAC as P7. Now based historical data Houston has better than 7:6 chance of coming from behind to defeat Army. Hold on....

After giving up that long run, the WMI has Houston at 13:5 for a computational comeback.

Ouch - fumble taken to the house. WMI at 23:7

Imagine being unable to post without crying about the conference situation. Could build an igloo with these snowflakes.

I'm not surprised that Army is winning this game but never would've guessed a behind the woodshed-esque face plant. Army has just had a magical season this year and their coach is top effin' notch.

Memphis seems to not be able to finish games. Reference the conference championship game.

I sure hope we party after the game this year.

Lol - it has changed everyday for the last week.
Good news is that those mid-50s keep being extended later into the week.

Houston you have a problem, you suck!

70-14 as Major Applewhite is reduced in rank to unemployed perhaps.

Army is good but not that good.

Did Houston consult TT on bowlcationing?

I just went over there schedule:

-lost 4/5 games
- Texas Tech put up 63 on them
- they struggled with Tulsa and Navy
- Bad ECU team stayed within 3 TDs
- Memphis beat them by 21

In retrospect, Maybe we should have seen this coming

Saturday, Dec. 22
Lockheed Martin Armed Forces Bowl/3:30 p.m. ET, ESPN
Houston vs. Army -6.5
Army 70 (11-2)
Houston 14 (8-5)

Well, I guess Army beat the spread! Dayum. Someone rolled out of bed this morning and forgot they had a bowl game to play. That is embarrassing. I picked Army to win but not by that margin. Dayum.

Conference Results:
ACC (1-0)
MW (2-1)
Sun (2-1)
CUSA (3-2)
AAC (1-3)
MAC (1-4)
P12 (0-1)

I expected Army to win like 35-17 but not 70-14.

Saturday, Dec. 22
Dollar General Bowl/7 p.m. ET, ESPN
Buffalo vs. Troy +1
Troy 42 (10-3)
Buffalo 32 (10-4)

Hey, at least we're not the P9 MAC LOL! I believe the MAC struggled in bowls last year but no one did as poor as the P12 (1-8). Again, this stuff can be a crapshoot year-to-year.

Conference Results:
ACC (1-0)
Sun (3-1)
MW (2-1)
CUSA (3-2)
AAC (1-3)
MAC (1-5)
P12 (0-1)
