Passing attack is clicking. Do we have a gunslinger?

Going to come down to our tired D getting some stops to win this.

Horrible pass interference call there.

I get that field position is really bad but that's extremely conservative when you can't run the ball and punting is an adventure.

Only 3 points allowed in the 2nd half. Great effort.

This one will go down in the books.

20 point underdogs vs #16 team. Backup QB, RB, missing star WR, etc.. Go Tribe

Good win. Lots of heart. Next man up all game. Fun to watch. I haven’t enjoyed a homecoming this much since beating JMU.

RE: Maine (homecoming)
Wonderful win by a dogged bunch of guys who stepped up and made one big play after another.

Defense was magnificent despite injuries...and hats off to offense making the big plays despite the injuries and some dirty play by Maine.

Laycock pulls another stunner!!! What a way to top off a Homecoming.

Maine (homecoming)
Dean looked good. He has a strong arm and isn't afraid to send it. He and Hefter seem good at recognizing pressure and avoiding pass rushers...worthy attribute behind a young OL. I know Rotger ran for a lot of yards in high school and set school records in the air. Last season's scout team offensive player of the year, I wouldn't be surprised to see him start next game.

Maine's WR, Edwards, had nearly 200 yards. Good player. Seems one guy lights us up just about every game.

Excellent use of our TE corps in the face of Maine's excellent defensive line.

My keys to the game:
Maine had 13 penalties for 130 yards. Our guys were very disciplined.
We converted redzone possessions into points.
3 INTs, one saved what probably would've been a Maine TD and gave us 6 points and another sealed the victory.
2 inexperienced QBs acted like starters.
Finally, our OL only gave up two sacks and we sacked Maine's QB twice. I love that stat.

Those two backup QBs looked pretty good. Makes you understand why they had a hard time deciding #1.

Dean was in a sling and Laycock said he had a shoulder problem. He won’t be back next week. It’ll either be Shon or Teddy.
