Yep. Our best PG might be Cumberland.

I'm glad we play before Xavier in the same block. Their fans might be less likely to cheer against us in fear that we would stay to boo them. Not a huge concern but a little bit of momentum could go a long way.

Don't get caught up in positions. Modern basketball has moved away from having that one PG that controls the ball a huge amount of the time. Nevada doesn't run a traditional PG centered offense. They have multiple wings that can break you down and create for others. Everyone on the floor for them is a plus offensive player. Both the Martins are big time offensive threats both scoring and getting others involved.

Team full of wings work when you have ELITE players like GS, when they go small, all 5 can pass at elite level. They go waste so much energy working so hard to score on their own. That's not go work when you go up against elite defenders. You need players that make it easy for others. Look at difference in Evans from when he has to run PG or JJ can make it easy for him and others.

Still JJ. NOBODY on team communicates more on offense or defense. He does all the little things naked eye wouldn't see. Watch how our wings run when he in game on breaks than when his out game.

I don't really believe in "momentum" like that. I think we'll either play well or we won't, our guys have been through a whole season as a team, grabbed a win at Wichita State in a place that was way more hostile than this environment. They'll be ready today. Question is whether they execute.

Do you really think your average dumb drunk fan in Nasheville is playing these multi step mental games? I'm sure any X fans will boo UC and any UC fans will boo X, regardless of time and place.

We beat them by more than 15 if Mick use bench to his advantage... No Moore or Williams in this game. heavy dosage of Broome, Scott and brooks

And we have four who can interchange at the position.

Yep. We hate them and they hate us. Anybody who says they cheer for both either didn't go to one or the other school or is pretty much lying.

On xaiverhoops.com they are openly talking about how great it is to be the second game because the UC fans will clear out after the Bearcats lose.

No I don't really think that lol I'm just trying to approach this game with a positive disposition. My point was x fans might be more worried about their game and potentially us staying to reciprocate the hatred than exerting their energy rooting against us.

Nevada second round pre-game presser and Coach Musselman's comments begin about the 18 minute mark.

Having watched the Nevada/Texas game, this looks like one game where they will not have a good matchup for Can Broome. Hopefully we can take advantage.

I watched college game day and they had Nevada beating UC as an upset pick. Time to prove to the "experts" that we are for real!

I am sure the experts also had UMBC beating Virginia and Loyola in the Sweet 16. Cincy will win and it will off to Atlanta next week.

Will be very nervous all day.
Good day to keep busy and get things done to keep my mind off of the game.

Glad we are not playing a P5 team after the biased officiating in the UM UH game.

Cautiously optimistic but he Bearcats have been bounced in the Round of 32 so many times before I can't helped but be jaded.

I'm calm, cool and collected. Not cocky. Not arrogant. Just have a quiet confidence like Gary "The Problem" Clark.

Good opportunity for UC to stop the 'second round loss' blues that has plagued the program for years....going back to Huggy and on through Mick.

I want to have confidence and relax but I'm a typical Cincinnatian.
I know only too well what sports disappointment feels like and I don't want to feel it today.
