Hate to see it, but not a surprise. Kid can play, and he is looking at 2 more years of futility at Delaware. Wondering what level of interest he'll get?

Agreed, I would think he could likely fit in a middle of the pack ACC lineup, and start for a lot of P5 programs. Kid can play and will be a big loss for the CAA and Delaware.

That's very disappointing. Delaware bringing back Ryan Daly and Ryan Allen were primed to take a leap forward under Ingelsby. Hate to see it, but it's the nature of the beast. His grandfather and father played at St. Joseph's... Maybe that's an option, either way he'll be a good addition for any team.

RE: 2018 Transfer List
Columbia guard Kyle Castlin (10.5 ppg) told ESPN he will graduate and transfer. One year of eligibility

He's a Georgia native, that was offered by Mercer while Esleeck was on the staff. Could add some depth at the guard position, if we fail to add one of the 2 JUCOs we've offered.

Interesting. JaQuel headed to D-II.

Fayetteville St. plays in the CIAA. Guess who is joining that conference on July 1?

Claflin University.

Which means he can transfer back to D1 in a year and play immediately. Smart move if he didn't have any good offers.

Delaware losing Daley isn't good for the overall trajectory of this conference. Hate to lose the good players.

Agreed. We've discussed it in other threads, but it's just another reason this conference needs fixing and fast.

RE: 2018 Transfer List
Didn't think a new thread was necesarry for this news, but Drexel Junior guard Tramaine Isabell to declare for 2018 NBA Draft... He is the 2nd CAA player to do so as Justin Wright-Foreman has as well... Wouldn't be surprised if Cacok did the same. Neither appear to be hiring an agent, just testing the waters. A smart move with the new rules allowing players more time to get feedback.

I'm surprised Cacok hasn't already. Seems a no-brainer to at least take a look.

Or maybe McGrath and his staff have enough contacts that have already somewhat informed Cacok on where he stands?

Joe Wolfe could be a big reason he stays. Cacok has room to improve his resume and Wolfe can be a big help with that.

Two South Carolina forwards are transferring. Don't think they played much, so it's hard to tell if they are worth pursuing.

Nathan Knight as well. That kid is the real deal. His talents will have NBA teams all over him I'd imagine.

I don't think he has an NBA ready game yet, whereas some of these guards may.

He's not NBA ready... but it doesn't hurt for him to talk to NBA teams and find out where he stands.

RE: 2018 Transfer List
Kansas State F Mawdo Sallah (RS JR) is leaving the program. Grad transfer with one year of eligibility.

Pretty wild, I didn't realize he had two years of eligibility when he left Mount St. Mary's. Don't know if he's an option or not, but I do recall C.B. understanding his decision to go to K State, and didn't seem to have any hard feelings over it. That could all be for show though, so who knows.

Burned once, i doubt he'd go there again

Agreed. It really is a shame that Sallah didn't stick with us. He sure could've been useful. Seems like a good kid from interviews I have seen with him.

We need him and he wants to go somewhere, no need to let hard feelings get in the way of a smart decision. If he wants to come, i'd take him.

Don't get me wrong, I'd take him... Just wonder how the staff feels about the previous happenings. He was actually enrolled and on campus at UNCW when he decided to bolt to Kansas State. Kind of the cherry on top of 5 decommits, and Bryce leaving. I for one am glad to put last offseason behind us.
