He's a grad transfer with only one year left. How many places would have an available scholarship if he were to commit here, then de-commit again?

Plenty. Grad transfers are highly sought after. Perfect stop gap.

Saw a list on an ESPN site that had the Clemmons kid from campbell as testing the NBA waters.

My guess is he ends up at NC State.

RE: 2018 Transfer List
Campell G Marcus Burk is transferring. He had 30+ points against us in Trask and averaged 14.4 ppg this year. Gonna be looking to move up in conferences. sit 1 and play 2.

Zane Martin and Justin Gorham are transferring from Towson! They have lost like 75% of their offense....similar to UNCW this past year. Martin could ball, but wasn't a team player so much but he gave them a whole lot of offense. Wow! This kind of thing happens a lot these days.

And just like that UNCW's stock rises a bit more and Towson's nose dives.
You think this kind of thing is prevalent now, just wait and see what happens if the NCAA scraps the rule or alters it; the rule that mandates players sit for a year upon transferring.

Two huge losses for Towson. That is on top of their senior heavy team this past season. Towson now falls straight to the bottom in preseason standings...

Really tough break for Towson and the CAA. Not a good off season losing a lot of top talent across the board.
One thing that Wilmington has going for it compared to a Towson is the location is extremely nice and can suck kids in. I think you’re less likely to have kids leave if you have a successful program in a place like Wilmington. Same goes for Charleston.

W&M lands Wisconsin transfer Van Vliet. Didn't play much there, but should be a tough matchup in the CAA as a 7 footer with legitimate 3 point range.

Drexel Junior guard Tramaine Isabell granted his release, plans to graduate this summer. Another tough loss for the CAA.

Yup. Another big step backwards for Spiker and company. 2 years, 2 huge losses (Kari Jonsson and now Tramaine Isabell). Losing Austin Williams to graduation and Isabell to graduate transfer, it will be another long painful year for the Dragons.

Lavar Batts Jr. was the first recruit that Keatts had at State. Didn't really play that much, but that was because he was a Freshman. Here's an article on him. Hasn't really said anything about where he's transferring to.

6'3" former 4 star recruit who initially committed to VCU but decided on NC State after Will Wade left for LSU. Athletic with one heck of a motor and a real asset on the defensive side of the ball, but struggled this past season putting the ball in the basket.Averaged 13 minutes in the ACC as a freshman but playing time greatly diminished at about the mid season mark.He would have been one of FOUR PGs for the Pack next year but probably felt like he needed to go elsewhere to garner more playing time. I had the pleasure of meeting him on two occasions and he is a very well spoken young man, as are the several members of his family that I met.My guess is he looks around trying to find a fit at another non ACC P5 school, but if not could potentially be a longshot to follow former NC State assistant A W Hamilton to Eastern Kentucky.
