Looks like Kevin Rogers needs a lot of credit for somehow making Cluley look good for the first 2/3s of the season. That being said, as soon as our running game isn't picking up 4-5 yard runs every down, Cluley will be exposed (which has happened both times against Richmond).

As much as I want to respond to today's performance rationally, it is difficult. Richmond clearly has our number. Our guys have played too well this season to be manhandled and embarrassed like this--I feel bad for them. Our players have to execute the game plan,but it has to be a game plan that gives them a chance to win. We have a lot of talent on this years squad, that just haven't been given the tools that they need. Laycock needs to make some swift choices regarding coaches and that first choice needs to be releasing the DC before they get back to Williamsburg!

I really can't believe that the team that I have watched today, with 2 more points against Delaware would have been the outright CAA champ and a seed in the playoffs.

Hopefully we put a new QB in. Need to get them experience

Seeing how we have played since the JMU game and regressed with each passing week, I didn't think there was much of a chance we won today.

That being said, I didn't think W&M would get their **** kicked in this bad. Really need to take a hard look at who is going to be quarterbacking the team next season. The defensive coordinator should be told he needs to walk home and get him replaced ASAP.

Weird how no one was saying Cluley was garbage after Towson.

It's been a long time since Cluley rested. He earned a restful off-season.

In reality, we all knew this was coming. What makes anyone think we would have made a game plan that would have differed from our previous trip to UR? This is a mediocre team that played again today with absolutely no desire and no will to win.

Well, I think they played hard, but we have some serious catching up to do to get back to even with Richmond.

UR is the better team, they outplayed us, and they deserved to win. Saying our players didn't want it and didn't give all they had is more embarrassing than the final score. Shameful.

Somebody mentioned this team was mediocre.

Well, that just isn't so. It was by no means a great team but won nine games, defeated nationally ranked teams three weeks in a row, and shared the conference championship. We also won every game at home
and did something we don't often do, defeat JMU.

Any one who takes the time to post here is probably a more than average Tribe fan. It is easy, after a loss like the one we had today, to respond emotionally.

I don't think that we were a mediocre team. We were CAA co-champs. We have not had a week off since the 2nd week of September. We were one of the last 16 teams still playing FCS football in December.

Any Tribe fan Is probably disappointed. Let's hope that our coaches(who get paid to make observations) see and respond to the issues that kept us from being in the final 8 FCS teams playing in December.

I hope there will not be post after post saying that we should start McKee or Mosley at QB next year for the next 8 months . Steve did fine overall and was almost flawless for most of the season, sadly just not at the end. I look forward to Steve's senior year and seeing how much he will improve, just as he did this year.

Looking forward to April 9, and the Spring Game.

Nice reply- yes- speaking with emotion. Failing to make any adjustments from the top down is sooo disheartening.

Our FR QB Brandon Battle will push Cluley for the starting role (& may win out).

Will still be tough to beat all that experience.
