RE: Playoffs
I would take that in a heartbeat. We should have no issues with Dusquence, and I like our odds against Coastal

So give us the 7 seed and let Coastal play in the first round. A week off would be huge for us as would home field.

RE: Playoffs
I'm rooting for W&M over Richmond and WIU over SDSU and Liberty over Coastal Carolina this weekend as the most likely ways for W&M to get a good seed.

RE: Playoffs
I can't believe that the Tribe will be playing the first weekend if they beat Richmond.
The only way that projected bracket is correct is if the Tribe loses to Richmond.
Beat the Spiders!

Other big teams to root for this weekend are Lamar (McNeese), South Dakota (Ill State), Western Ill (SD State), Missouri St (NDSU), and Eastern WA (Portland St). I think we have a real shot at a top 4 seed but a little help never hurt

We have to beat Richmond. A CAA championshup is a great achievement for this team. Home playoff games, knocking Richmond out, and higher playoff seed are just a bonus.

How about this one... We beat Richmond, get a seed, Richmond sneaks in to the playoffs at 7-4, and we get a chance to beat them AGAIN in the 2nd round!

RE: Playoffs
I still remember when beating Richmond every season was almost as much of a regular thing as beating VMI. I vaguely remember a stretch of 13 wins in 15 games, and the Spiders were so despondent they even evaluated dropping football down to DIII.
The Tribe needs to get back to that old routine of beating the Spiders like they were Keydets.
Go Tribe!

I am not big on playoff rematches. Other than our epic win over Delaware in 2004, those have not worked out well for us. Win the CAA Saturday and then hope for a good draw Sunday morning. Others can, but I won't let myself get too far ahead. I did that in 2009(football) and in 2013(basketball). Just enjoying the season, one revenge game at a time. I did enjoy LeadBolt's Rocky II reference though.

OT: I am in Death Valley, SC at Clemson/Wake Forest and this place erupted when that score was announced.

I hope W&M doesn't play any team that runs a triple option. Don't need another repeat of the GA Southern playoff debacle...

RE: Playoffs
No bowls has us playing at Sam Houston St.. I hope we don't see that. I guess whether we host depends on what we bid for the game. I would think we would have a chance to host. After that, I don't really care. We will be in to the round of 16 against someone on the road. Anyone who got a seed is very capable. I think we can play with anyone if we play our best. If not, we will get the 4th quarter at Delaware or today and the season will be over. I like the fact that the Tribe has a chance to finish with something better than another loss to the Spiders.
That projection also has JMU getting a seed and Richmond not. It also has both NH and Towson in. If that does happen, we should host and have an easier opponent than either NH or Towson. Will see tomorrow and hopefully fill Zable with ticket purchases.
Finally on the game today, Coach Laycock had it right on the telecast. He said coming out of the half, we didn't get any pressure defensively and we couldn't run it or protect Cluely. No one, including Delaware, dominated us physically the way Richmond did. Perhaps we can make adjustments and go on another run like we did after Delaware. Much like Coach Shaver's positive attitude, we need to hope our guys rally back for each other.

RE: Playoffs
Does nobowls take the bid process into consideration or just post based on rankings? When was the last time we made the playoffs and didn't get at least one home game?
