Let the Georgia southern fans think they will steam roll us on last years results... It will be a fun game to watch if they believe this.
[/quote]

If you did a poll amongst GS fans I think you'd get a split decision on that, with a fair majority being very concerned about our game. I know that I am, but I'm certainly not about to concede. Some Troy fans, on the other hand, appear to think we have no chance. SHOULD be a good one.

Probably won't matter, but ULM will have Ceasar back this week and Holley returned this past week. We also have a good history in the Troy series. May prediction is ULM leads in the first quarter and Dallas apart in the 2nd. Story of our season.

I don't know a single Troy fan that thinks GS doesn't have a chance against us... But there IS GS fans who think they WILL roll against us.

I'm not for sure we will beat y'all... But I AM sure we will show up and play a full 60minutes.

I'm pretty sure you will too, seeing as how if you don't then you have to forfeit.

stAte @ #32 App St 34-31 Too many injuries. I have a real bad feeling.

ULM @ TROY 38-24 Ride that &%$*ing snake to Valhalla!

ULL @ Ga State 28-27 Another near miss for GaSt

Idaho @ USA 47-22 Idaho is outclassed convincingly

NMSU @ Texas State 45-13 NMSU is still the worst team in college football

Tehe. But cramps don't amount to injuries. Troy was running on a play count and the way their offense was forced to slow down in overtime showed that there wasn't much about being "tired" or injured. App came out of that game relatively healthy and should be fine against Arkansas State.

Ga State beats ULL 34- 22
USA beats Idaho 31-27
Troy beats ULM 45-31
Texas State beats NMSU 45-21
App State plays Arkansas State

RE: Week 10 predictions
Nunn was a cornerstone of our O-Line and Law, who is clearly still limited, is the best player on the team IMO.

And Troy scored a TD, a FG, and would likely have had another TD in the third OT had they not tried one trick too many.

All-in-all, I think it was Woody's inexplicable desire to rush three and play zone for 5 quarters that almost got us beat, but our team is as beat up as its been in a while. I don't have a good feeling about beating stAte. I hope I'm wrong.

The trick wasn't snuffed out because of lack of execution or because it was a bad call. The App players heard the kicking team calling regular and instead of going straight up or rushing off the edge they waited for the play to develop. As there is not a place for moral victories, there isn't a place to say we should've lost. App never trailed until the end of the game and to say they were outplayed, when the scoreboard shows 44-41 and the stat sheet shows a separation of only a couple dozen total yards is unwarranted negativity. Confirmation bias if you will and concern that has been engrained from the past three seasons.

R-E-L-A-X. Relax.

Cool story, bro.

I don't think I ever said we were outplayed. I should be able to predict what I want to predict. I've been reading and posting on these boards for a good long while and this might be the first time I've been accused of being overly pessimistic.

RE: Week 10 predictions
no doubt Woodys refusing to change up the defense and bring some pressure was a big part of Troy's success, I get what he was trying to do, he thought since that qb got the ball out so quick, it was pointless to blitz, but he forgot a pretty basic train of thought in football, that if you keep showing a qb the same look over and over, he will get comfortable reading your defense, and if he is any good will pick you apart. Woody should have brought some pressure if for no other reason to hit the guy, put some doubt in his mind, and get him out of his comfort zone, I don't remember on solid hit on him that put him on the ground the entire game.

Ark state @ App State... I think Ark States offense keeps it interesting much like Troy did but doesn't hang around late. I really don't think stAte will run it as fast as we did. And I think App will be more ready for the up tempo.... App wins 43-27

ULM @ TROY... Troy offense continues what it's done in the past two weeks. TROY 41 ULM 21

ULL @ Ga State.... Upset alert.... But is it really a upset? Not really... GSU wins 38-24

Idaho @ USA.... Idaho isn't the same without epps... Idaho puts a scare in them tho.... USA wins 28-20

NMSU @ Texas State.... Pretty easy HC win for the Bobcats... Texas state wins 44-21

If you flipped everyone of those it would not be shocking. I dont think Ga St wins but other than that agree.
