I'm not challenging your seedings, just want clarification. UD and Drexel split their games this season. Does the tiebreaker not go to their games against the next highest seed (Elon)? If so, Drexel owns that tiebreaker making Drexel the #6 seed.

Assuming tribe_pride correctly listed the seedings, we'll play TU/Elon and HU/JMU. UNCW will play CoC/Drexel and UD/NU. NU will play UD and CoC/Drexel/UNCW. We have to feel fairly good, if not nonsensically over-confident, about our potential opponents compared to the road UNCW and NU will have to take.

No, tie breakers start at the top of the standings and work down, after head to head. Delaware was 2-0 against us, Drexel was 1-1.

CAASports has the bracket out which is what mine says as well. I think the tiebreak is actually against the top seed and working their way down. Not sure if that means W&M or all 4 teams that finished with the same record but either way, Delaware wins that tiebreak.

Be interested to see what attendance is like this year. I remember reading an article where the CAA Commishioner (Yearger?) was saying he expected it to be much better, but obviously he is expected to say that.

1st team:

2nd team:

3rd team:

Dixon

Nothing much to argue with about the 1st tean. Only gripe - would probably switch Curry with Eatherton on 1st team.

2nd and 3rd teams they have are debatable. First, I would have Prewitt way higher than Dixon. As much as I like Dixon, he has no business being on any of the all conference teams. I would have Prewitt on the 3rd team all CAA. John Davis (Towson) is a notable omission. He is borderline 2nd-team or definite 3rd-team IMO. Freddie Jackson shouldn't be 2nd-team. TJ Williams also shouldn't be on any of the conference teams.

My list

1st team
Thornton
Tarpey
Spruill
Curry
Lee

2nd team
Green
Tanksley
Walker
Davis
Eatherton

3rd team
Jackson
Holden
Bryant
Prewitt
Dalembert

Towson and Charleston open as slight favorites in the first round. Charleston over Drexel? Seems like a stretch.

Towson currently favored by 1 1/2 and the CoC v Drexel game is a pick'em. Those lines seem abour right.

Who would you guys prefer to face in your matchup? The consensus on our side of the bracket is we'd prefer a 7-man Drexel squad.

Think I'd rather get Towson even though it would basically be a home game for them. Elon has won 3 straight @ Delaware, Northeastern and UNCW while Towson has lost 7 of their last 8 with only win in that group has been home @CoC.

Now changed to Towson by 2 and CoC by 1 1/2. Wonder if Towson is getting the 3 points for being the local team added to it.

Frankly it doesn't matter what team we play. We can beat anyone or lose to anyone...if the guys play three games at the high level they've shown this season we'll beat anyone in the league.

A little OT, but congrats to Longwood, who knocked off Big South #1 Seed Charleston Southern this afternoon. The Lancers had to win a playin game just to get to the first round. The Madness has started...
