CMU assists 17 EMU 4, poor performance at home.

CMU is putting on a 3 point shooting clinic. Very impressive.

Central doesnt have a bunch of world beaters. they do, however, have a coach that knows exactly how to beat our zone.

Yeah there used to be a time when Murphy and Keno's name in terms of coaching ability weren't used in the same sentence. Keno is outcoaching Murphy right now. When people openly question whether Murphy can take us to the next level games like this come up.

Fair assessment. Can't get blown out at home, especially by an in-state rival. Most embarrassing game of Murphy's tenure, easily.

He's a great coach, no debating that.

Really?????????????? (doesn't even make my top 5 or 10).
Ugly game by EMU, but CMU shot very, very well behind the arc.
Give CMU credit for making all of those shots... Those shots aren't automatic by any stretch.
Simons made 7 of 11 treys. Many players can't make 7 of 11 free throws...

They gave up during half time i don't know what said but the way they came onto floor for the second half reminded me of whipped curds! Not as a team not with any hassel, not with their heads up. Just Mosed out and for the most part just went through motions.

No Keno just won the coaching battle. Tip your hat to CMU and quit being a poor sport.

Yep, thought about it for a good while. Can't think of anything that comes that close, since Murphy hasn't really been blown out at home since he's been here. It reminded me of Ramsey's last year when WMU smoked us on Earl Boykins Day. Nothing quite as embarrassing to me as getting walloped on your own floor.

RE: Game Week: CMU and @WMU
I was going to say the Buffalo game. They aren't as good as CMU. I just looked at the box score and UB made 7 - 13 3-pointers.
There is an ole saying about 'zone busters' and both UB and CMU did it very well.
I assume the 'text book' says the zone will help teams win games they would not otherwise win BUT if the other team is shooting the 3-ball, it is 'Katy by the door.'

Katie bar the door? As in, hold the villains back/keep out the bad guys?

RE: Game Week: CMU and @WMU
On a different vain, I wonder if the team was tired from the Saturday game in DeKalb?
The game ended about 11:00 EST and they bused back to Ypsi in the wee hours Sunday (5am??). Followed by a quick turnaround game on Tuesday against maybe the best team in the MAC.
