Not sure if it is true, because I only see it in one spot, but a high school teammate tweeted that 2015 QB Brandon Battle committed to the Tribe. I guess I'll listen up for more confirmation. I did see that a certain W&M coach did his customary "ring the bell" tweet. He does that whenever there is a commitment.

Pro-style QB Brandon Battle 6'3" 185lbs Waldorf, MD (North Point HS). Listed as running a 4.7 40. Depending on where you look, he's listed anywhere between a NR & 3-stars.

You have to assume that Kevin Rogers is now fully engaged in the recruiting of QBs for the Tribe. Hopefully, Kevin's involvment will begin to show positive results re QBs in the near future.

When one considers ALL of the truly outstanding QBs who have led other teams in the CAA to victory over the last 8 -10 years, W&M has been conspicuous for its lack of success and mediocracy.

More conspicuous for the lack of QBs that are picked to start and don't get injured. I'd also like to see the list of "truly outstanding QBs" from other teams over the last 8-10 years. I think we'd have at least a couple in there.

I found this part most interesting as is show Mangas or Brady has what it takes to recruit (Mangas recruits western MD while Brady recruits northern neck VA so who knows which recruited Conlans): "The guy who recruited me played there a few years ago, so he's really comfortable with the program and really talked me into it.”

Mangas serves as W&M’s primary recruiter in Northwest Virginia, Western Pennsylvania, Western Maryland, Ohio, Michigan, California, Arizona, Hawaii and Alaska.

Gotcha, I was thinking of the QB (Battle) who is from southern MD.
