True. I think he can handle it in short stints in a bind, but if we need to rely on him to run it, we've gone off the rails. More than any other reason, Swing is most effective moving without the ball. Sort of like Mo Finley...he could do it, but you really want him catching it on the move and either popping a quick three or using a head fake to get his defender out of position and get to the rim. If Swing (like Mo) is your primary ballhandler, you've neutralized his effectiveness.
And while I agree with the general consensus that we're deeper, we're actually deeper with rebounders and defenders and pure athletes. It's a much better position to be in than we've been in the past, but I still don't think we're deep with people whose primary purpose on Earth is to score the basketball. When we struggle, it will be because we can't score in the halfcourt.
