It's a 10 point game with 11:43 to go. We are turning it over every third possession it seems like.

What's the chant the band does when the opposing team goes to the free throw line?

But, is the talent there? Turnovers can be fixed. Having 7 capable players can't.

Game tracker says 11 turnovers with under 7 to play. That doesn't seem bad, considering half the team is playing their first ever game and we are subbing more than normal

Not sure on talent. CJ Washington looked like a beast in the first half, but disappeared in the 2nd. Chad Frazier looked amazing playing pickup ball this summer, but looks indecisive trying to run the point. Mehinti is going be a beast, but is probably a year away.
Tyler Madison had looked really good in the 2nd half just from a hustle standpoint, but has made a bunch of freshmen mistakes as well.

We've had a lot more than 11 turnovers, but a lot of them are us fumbling loose balls, trying to play volleyball the rebounds instead of securing the ball

Looks like 15 is the final count on turnovers. That's about our average last year.

Fifteen isn't horrible, but we need to do better than that.

Very impressive statistics. The newcomers have added a lot of depth to this years team, no doubt.

Folks. This is the first game of the year and an exhibition at that. Things will be messy. Haase is experimenting with lineups to see who gels well and to see how they respond. If we were simply trying to run up the score, it would have been a much larger margin of victory. Margin of victory means nothing in this type game. It's all about trying to learn some things about your players and have some film to look at to coach them up.

From the box score it looks like we had a very balanced performance. Swing and Purifoy looked to be a little underwhelming. Double double for Williams!

For the folks who were at the game, give us some analysis! I'm dying for some basketball

Rebounding was absolutely awesome. Probably a record for rebounding in one game. Twenty three offensive rebounds and forty defensive rebounds. Scoring was very balanced. Seventeen assists.
