RE: Falling Skies
I'm saying the new Prez (the chick) is the mole. The plan all along was for them to use Hal to kick Mason out of office and then the real mole to mess them over by planting seeds of doubt about the BFG that the friendly aliens are building.

Falling Skies
It seems like episodes 4-6 drag in every season. They put so much at the end that the middle becomes harder to watch

May be true, but gets to the point you don't really look forward to it like I have in the past. Good closing episodes will help a lot to keep real interest.COGS

RE: Falling Skies
Yeah, things are really moving now.

Recap:

1. Cochese and the president survived
2. Cochese revealed that the skitters want to launch a defensive grid to keep them from Volm ships. What we didn't know is that the Grid will destroy all human life on earth in three months.
3. The Volm Weapon will destroy the Grid, but if it fails, the earth will be destroyed. What fun.
4. We find out that Lourdes is the mole. She in turn murders the president upon his arrival, causing Weaver to believe Maria is the actual mole.
5. At the end of the episode, Tom gets captured by the Aliens

Next Week:

Charleston finally realizes who is the Mole.
The Alien Grid is erected
Tom gets subjected to a unique form of torture by Karen involving the skin being pulled off his face, or something like that

I didn't see the part where Charleston figures out who the mole is. And I'm still not convinced she's the only one.

RE: Falling Skies
Last episode was great compared to several before that one.
Would be back up there as my favorite program if they were all that great.

Least likely mole twist was very good. I know of nobody who guessed it was her.

I knew a couple who were convinced Mariana or whats her name was the mole. Lourdes was very much the least likely character to be the mole.

Had to be a woman because of the stature of the shooter. The new lady president was too obvious a choice. Just a process of elimination, and a gut feeling.

Which one is Lourdes? I'm horrible with names.

I'm going with the female pres as the mole.
But I think Lourdes is the hot blonde that was banging Hal's son.

Lourdes is the young doctor. (The one that isn't pregnant at the beginning of the year)

She's the most deeply religious on the series, something that was explored a lot in season 1.

RE: Falling Skies
After last week's wild ending, the writers really drive us crazy by starting this episode with an alternate reality, in which Karen is a cop, Weaver homeless, and Pope a professor, and no aliens in sight.

Its really odd.

We're also getting flashbacks from season 1, and references to new York, Boston, Chicago, and Jacksonville. If I remember season 1 early episodes correctly, that is where the skitter structures were first spotted.

Oh, now I see...this is part of some super fancy interrogation technique. Sounds like a fun experience.
