I agree we could go with a three forward look as well.

NO SHOT BLOCKER THIS COMING SEASON? RILE BLCOED 96 SHOTS LAST SEASON AND ALTERRED MANY MORE. BRYANT BLOCKED HIS SHARE OF SHOTS AS WELL!

OUR DEFENSE COULD REALLY BE IN TROUBLE BUT I EXPECT OUR OFFENSE TO BE MUCH BETTER

Karrington Ward blocked quite a few last year too. I think Ajayi could be a shot blocker with more PT. Not as good as Riley, but efficient enough.

I am totally comfortable with Ward taking over the power forward spot with his strength and hops. Assuming Price lives up to his HS rankings at SF, center will be the only hole. So I agree with you, Ajayi does not need to excel. Just hold up a little.

NOBLES
WILSON
ALVANO
BOND
OKOLOJI

????????

HOW MANY MORE?

I am assuming we have 3 more left, if all the reported transfers and commitments hold true. The following 10 players will have schollies:

Talley
Lee
Price
Ward
Ajavi
Martin
Alvano
Bonds
Nobles
Okoloji

Also, I can't imagine EMU will salvage 3 more quality players to give schollies to at this point. So I would hope they would give Wilson one this year rather than waiting till next year.

RE: EMU Hoops Targets (2014)
I respectfully disagree-Dieng's stock keep rising and we were the first school to offer him. You had a first team Div II All American in Albert with four Div I schools offering him in Albert (by the way Ward was also a first Team Div II All American), Nazione is a second team Div II JUCO All American, Clyburn has several Div I offers, Joseph has two Div I offers and Bingham if eligible multiple Div I offers so yes I think we've going after quality. Anyone of the names mentioned could be a contributor. Personally I think Dieng, Albert/Clyburn and Nazione are the key additions we need to have.

The latest from Steve Bell who scouts and evaluates these kids:

Steve Bell ‏@BankHoops · 15h
If he plays this wknd at King James as he did in spurts in Detroit, GR Storm's 7-footer Khadim Dieng will pull significant offers

RE: EMU Hoops Targets (2014)
I anticipate another busy week for EMU hoops recruiting. The coaches are busy trying to wrap up a good recruiting class.

P.S. Grades could be an issue on behalf of some of the recruits, lets hope it all works out favorably for EMU.

P.S. I think EMU Steve is working hard on some transfers, a lot of them in his part of the country.

Keep your eyes and ears open on potential recruits.

79 look for updates on the 2 JUCO big guys, would be nice to get a commitment soon from one of them.

If you're looking at potential walk on candidates at center:

Danny Dixon 6'9, Grosse Point South

Nick Detlev 7'2, Andrews-Osborne Ohio

posted previous article that EMU had contacted Detlev in this thread
