Can't imagine we are far away from a recruiting update
I think the 'trigger' is if there is a recruit in the 'pipeline' and as soon as they feel they can announce him they announce everyone.
If #12 is a transfer then whenever they feel they can. E.g., a kid might need summer courses to complete his bachelor's degree. E.g., thought I read that maybe Percy Gibson (Iowa State-Detroit Southeastern) might be a candidate to graduate from ISU in 3+ years. Considered an excellent student.
If #12 is a JUCO, maybe after completion of this semester and grades.
If #12 is a high school kid (e.g., Clyburn) then after spring semester grades OR a test result (whichever they are waiting on).
Then #13 would be announced if and when he signs this summer.
who knows? what a crap shoot - I'm beginning to like Football recruiting more and more - there is more info out there!
B ball recruiting can be very frustrating, especially for EMU

Dennis,
It is an artifact of how (or who) EMU recruits.
EMU recruits a number of JUCOs and D-I transfers. Those typically happen in April and May. And frequently not the first day of the spring period.
Hence, don't expect much to happen in November (or September or October) or March (or February or January)...
Patience is a virtue... I'm trying to be virtuous.
BTW, we know the names of what six signees? (information IS out there. It isn't like we are totally in the dark.)
We still need to know the name of seven (if there is one) and eight (if there is one).
My guess is that we are working on #7. Number 8? I'm not sure if Murphy knows who #8 is or will be...
