Yes they did. I remember that clearly. However, they have not been a factor within the competition of the Sun Belt for several years. And they are acting like they are the new Alabama. I say roll on. Have fun in the CUSA while the SBC gives them their fair well tour.

Bumping this thread now that it has been slightly over a month later. LIKE I SAID, there is nobody in the Sun Belt that will touch Monroe this year. WKU was the closest and even they fell to the Warhawks. With even a slightly better defense, this team would be busting the BCS this year.

Not sure I would say steamrolling when a transition team that was 2-5 came into your building and had no problem standing toe to toe with you. You will win the belt, but you are not running teams out of the building.

It wasn't a Warhawk fan that started this thread and it isn't a Warhawk fan you are responding to. Like our team, we are taking this season one game at a time.

I hope ULM keeps up the winning, now that we are through with you, and gets that top 25 ranking. The SBC needs it and you guys are the only ones left that can do it this year.

We are definitely not crowing. We are starting to rack up some injuries, but the difference is this year we have some depth. I think we can win out the rest of the year, but the belt is tough top to bottom, as we learned yesterday. Personally I think USA talent wise is upper half of the Belt this year, but it took a while for them to adjust and their coach didn't even try to win the game at the end yesterday. He is a good coach though. Look out for them next year.

Yawn, we were out our 1 string QB, RB and WR.

Not to mention starting LB suspended as well as a safety.

Do we really want to talk about injuries? Aside from Kolton's injury, we came into the game with 6 starters out due to injury, including our top 2 running backs.
