IMO there are 3-4 teams better than ULM in the SBC this year.

ULM just jumped out of the starting gate a little faster, but I look for some other teams to show dramatic improvement in Conference play.

I have a different opinion I suppose. I think having at least one program each year that really stands out will help get the conference noticed. More than having a team that gets noticed go on to lose 3 more games and end 7-5. People won't think 'oh wow the whole conference is solid.' they will more likely think 'oh, I guess they weren't that good after all'. Look at the SEC. It's not always the same team winning it all, but someone IS winning it all. That's caused a change in perception from the top conference being the BIG10 to the SEC in the past decade.

I am very disappointed that we didn't win last night, but I am still very proud of this team and community. It showed if we win they will come. I think we destroy Tulane next weekend, but I think conference play will be tough. I do think ULM, even if we don't win conference, will have our first winning season and will go to our first bowl. I also think if we can beat Tulane and MTSU will come home to another nice crowd for FAU. People had a great time and saw a hard fought game. I'm proud to be a Warhawk and members of this fine conference. Good luck in your games today guys!

It was a really nice crowd. What was the final attdce number? I believe this is the strongest the conference has ever been and it will be a dogfight till the end.
Im watching Tulane on TV right now and they are awful. You guys will roll.

The attendance was over 30K cant remember exactly, but it was an awesome crowd. Great game ULM, some games just arent meant to be won. You guys have done an awesome job, gaining exposure for ULM and the SBC. Keep up the good work, and you may be bowling.

We may take friendly jabs at the warhawks, but most of what I read on this tread were Cajuns giving a thumbs up to the Warhawks. You green dudes are the only ones starting crap. No, I'm not jealous at all. Would I prefer us beating Arkansas and giving Auburn and Baylor a run for their money... sure. Who wouldn't. ULM is 1-2 right now and their offense looks great. Their D has the fight in them. I'm happy for them. They have done themselves and the SBC well in the last 3 weeks. As far as your mean... um... green (whatever that means). Enjoy it in the CUSA.
