RE: OT: The Walking Dead on AMC
Just so you know, the locations have been fairly accurate so far as the actual geography. Most of season 1 was around Atlanta, season 2 was south of the city just off of I-85, and 3 has been set an hour south of Atlanta in and around a studio near Senoia which doubles as Woodbury. I spent 10 years of my life there and interestingly the town hall on the show is the only facade on main street. Were you to stay on path they could get to Ft Benning in a couple of hours.

I was a little let down by it being a season finale. However did have average to above violence, and did move the plot along fairly well. Hated to see several people die that I liked. Rather unfinished with the Governor, guess they wanted to keep him around.

Weak? Milton turning and getting Andrea, the Gov. turning on his people, Carl doing what had to be done, .50 cal and explosions.... it was a great finale.

I just feel like the whole season was leading up to this epic fight between the two groups of people...that "epic fight" turned out to be a 10 minute segment of nothing really happening except some zombies dying. Maybe it's because I've read the comics and I'm comparing it to that...

I did like the Carl story though.

Don't understand the love for this show. Average at best. Game of Thrones is a 100 x better if you are talking fantasy

RE: OT: The Walking Dead on AMC
Good finale, and leaves next season open to a continuation of the Governor storyline. He's not dead, and still has his top two guys. So the big battle between the governor and the ricktatorship could still happen

Brought Tyrese into the prison, which needed to happen to get the story back on track with the books somewhat.

Carl becoming billy badass is interesting, not sure where they are going to go with that.

And personally, I'm glad Andrea's dead. She was nothing other than a monkeywrench for the whole show.

The new question I have is now Rick has all these people in the prison, but they were running short on food already. They got a bunch more mouths to feed, and didn't seem to bring anything back with them from Woodsbury (that might be an assumed deal though). I HOPE they cleaned out the armory, the food storage, and all other useful supplies. Cause if they plan to stay in the prison, they need to add some better defenses.

They never got the prison armory though, or mentioned looking for it except when they first went into the prison.
Wonder if they will be traveling early next year (October 2013 I believe) or if only part of them will travel looking for
more food and munitions.

I don't know that it is safe to assume they will stay at the prison, although travelling just got a lot more difficult. You have to assume they brought supplies from Woodbury or they will go back and get them. They had to come back to the prison regardless to get the rest of the gang.

As for weapons, I am sure they loaded up. The Woodbury group left a lot of weapons at the prison when they ran, including that .50 cal and there were a lot of weapons left at the site where the Gov. mowed down everyone.

They are well armed now but the question is how do they find food? I suspect that the people from Woodbury they brought over are the ones who did most of the gardening since the others stood on the wall. They could repair the gates and start farming the large open areas or they might just scout out a new home and use the prison as a base.

Give Carl some extra ammo and he would take care of the extra need for food.

They're probably going to pull a Merle and keep the Governor out of most of next season to let more back-story develop for season 5. It seems like Carl is developing into what he thinks Rick should have been from the start, but is lacking Rick's human element that came back in full force after bringing a bus load of Woodburry people back to the prison (essentially turning into a younger version of Shane that Rick can't just gangsta-stab).

It's going to be interesting to see how Carl fares over the next season. He's just kind of been the "tag along" son for a while now, but his actions, and how he is much more outspoken, make me feel like something big is coming up next season involving him. As much as I was hoping for the Governor to be done away with, it isn't very surprising that they're keeping him around for a while.

Oh wow...I totally didn't expect to see a picture of the town I live in on here! I live in the town they call "Woodbury" which is actually Senoia, Georgia. I watched them film all summer long. They are actually about to open a "Walking Dead" themed zombie store in downtown called "The Woodbury Shoppe." We have so many tourists these days.

The black facad building you see is Zac Brown's (of the Zac Brown band) restaurant. Right beside that with the red awning is "Founder's" which is a GREAT restaurant for anyone that decides to visit.

The water tower you see in the background just got sold to the same company that is responsible for all the growth in downtown Senoia and landing "The Walking Dead" in Senoia. They are building a restaurant at the bottom of it that has an elevator that goes to the top of the water tower. They are putting windows in the water tower and it will have a bar overlooking downtown inside of the bowl of the tower.

Tons of movies have filmed in Senoia as well. Fried Green Tomatoes, Sweet Home Alabama, Driving Miss Daisy, among others.

They shifted the focus from the walkers being the primary 'evil' in the show to an actual villain. My guess is that he sticks around a while longer.

Also, I can't recall, but did they ever say if the helicopter was his or not?
