Memphis has played 14 sub-100 teams compared to Charlotte's 12, and you want to accuse us of loading up on cupcakes? Yes, Charlotte has two bad losses to ECU and Rutgers, but Memphis has some as well, to Providence, Ole Miss, and Louisiana Tech. And yes, there were some narrow escapes, but Memphis has had their share too, including a six-point win over ECU, another six-point win over South Florida, a five-point win over Austin Peay, and a four-point win over Arkansas State. So there's not really a whole lot of room for you guys to talk smack there.

There aren't all that many Charlotte fans who are particularly fond of Iti. He just hasn't lived up to his potential or his hype at all yet. Also, I can deal with trash-talking, but I just didn't understand how North Carolina was a "little state" compared to Tennessee, that's all. I'm sorry I like to back up what I say. Anyway, carry on.

I spoke strictly on being 23 in the AP. Nothing more, nothing less, but leave it to a Charlotte fan to try and turn a simple statement into something else.

Being 23 does not guarentee a rpi in the 20s. Congrats to you guys for having all of that, but don't come over here with a bunch of assumptions about what Memphis would or wouldn't kill for. If we would "kill" for something, it would for something better than what you guys have.

As for the NCAA bid, we'll see. With a crappy rpi, Memphis STILL has a shot and people are still talking about us. I doubt Charlotte could say the same if they were in our position.

I hate to say this--but we should not be talking too much smack to Charlotte. They are a well coached team and will be ready to play. It will be a tough win no matter what--and if we look past them we will get beat.
