Looks like Pitino to Iona is official.

And yeah like I said there are obvious factors that likely made Iona more of a possibility than JMU, but it does make you wonder. I did see one article(can’t seem to find it now) that said a source close to Pitino said several schools had reached out to him but didn’t name any besides Iona and GCU. Would be interesting to know whether JMU did aim that high.
